5 /5 Norma Jinete: Love this little church. My kids go here for Sunday school/religious education and I’m also attending adult classes. There’s one priest in particular that I love. He’s very nice and funny! Makes mass attendance interesting and enjoyable.
5 /5 Charles Coleridge: Year anniversary of my father in laws passing. He lived on Roosevelt Island and we had his fumeral here. Beautiful palm Sunday service. We came up from NC for the service. Beautiful church and very nice parishioners!
5 /5 Doron Youseflaleh: Its nice to be part of a community in the United States with open arms because I can learn different skills here as well. Its not just about prayers or devotions or chantings more life has to offer. So I have no choice but to only accept lifes blessings as they occur as someone once told me to focus on the good in others in situations where situations call for it. I dont rely on phrases to get me out of trouble but when trouble lurks I can call on G-d to appease me and it makes me unique since we were all born with a holy Spirit I believe and wishes come true to those who wait and answer the call as long as they remember where they literally came from. So my case is definitely unique as it should be. So thanks for prayer and other forms of worship that I am allowed to be on my way. But thats just me. Unique church designs are like art. Organ playing is a plus there. Keep learning!
5 /5 Hy Sukardi: My family organized and attended a service for our deceased beloved aunt. Father Tom who performed the ceremony, it was beautifully done. The church is beautiful inside and outside, not small and not big, with live streaming and a great sound system. Oh and a parking lot.
5 /5 ibidun damien: We Had a beautiful Mother’s Day #mothersday #rose
Queen of Peace St. Pauls is the kind of church community where everyone feels at home immediately. I really suggest you stop by some time and experience the warmth of the community.
Over the past two years, however, this parish has become a home to the Spanish parishioner and seems to treat all others as outcasts. It is a far cry from the parish Id known for 40 years which was welcoming and accepting of all. A parish which celebrated parish feasts on the feast day June 29th with a great deal of joy. For all but the Spanish parishionere, the joy has left this place.
