Irina R. After a few years of growing my hair long and only cutting my hair at home, I decided it was time for a change. I wasnt too sure exactly what I wanted, and I was nervous about losing too much length, but Brandon put me instantly at ease. I really appreciated that he took the time to understand my usual routine and my styling preferences and that his suggestions took into account my natural, wavy texture. He also recommended highlights, and Jordan did a fantastic job not only with coloring but also with walking me through the colors that best suit me. Rebecca and Alexa assisted, and they were lovely and helpful! Even though I had originally only booked the gloss and not the highlights, I didnt feel rushed at any point and Brandon took the time to share many useful tips on how to care for my wavy hair. I appreciated how well-organized, friendly, and kind everyone was - I felt like a princess and, most importantly, I love love love the result! I will surely be back!

Julia Megibow Dolson I will try to make this review short and sweet as I know long one can be daunting, but let me tell you that I feel like I have FINALLY found my new salon and stylist in the Upper East Side. As we all know, especially those of us that color our hair, finding a good salon and a good stylist can be quite a journey. I had been to several other salons in the neighborhood and some I would stay at for a few months, but then something would happen that would cause me to look elsewhere. I came in on a Sunday and Giuseppe was my stylist. I said to him only a few simple things - half head of highlights and blended and he went to work. i dont know how he did it or if he is a psychic, but it was like he read my mind and gave me exactly what I wanted and I AM THRILLED. I feel like only really good and amazing stylists can take a little information and make it amazing. He also has such a strong passion for hair coloring and the art of it. He thoroughly enjoys his work and making people happy by giving them exactly what they want and you can tell as it was very much reflected in his work and personality. Also the Living room hair salon is HUGE and just beautiful! I dont think I have been to a salon that clean, organized and spacious since I lived in California! Seriously - if you want a wonderful experience with wonderful stylists - look no further as The Living Room Hair Salon is IT.

Joannah Denise I finally found a salon that knows how to care for my coily curls! They do it all here - blowouts/silk press, wash and go, color, cut, braids…whatever you need! My experience was awesome from start to finish. I arrived a few minutes early and they promptly started with my service while talking me through the entire process. Conveniently located less than 10 minutes from my office, Hair Rules is now my go to hair salon. The salon space is clean and modern, the staff is personable and professional, and the service that I received - TOP NOTCH! Hair Rule was referred to me and I highly recommend them for your hair care needs!

Meredith Hirsh Rosa was fabulous. I told her that I wanted to have beachy waves and she used a flat iron like I’ve never seen one used. Such fabulous curl. And, what a sweetheart! I’m in from out of town and have an event tonight and was looking for a blow dry studio in the area. The reviews prior to mine were fabulous and so was my experience.

Kate V I came to Lilly to get my roots touched up, as well as to fix orange banding from a previous colorist. She recommended we do a keratin treatment for blondes, which I’m glad I did because it helped prevent hair breakage and loss during the bleach treatment. My hair felt amazing! She then fixed the banding and touched up my roots which was an incredibly difficult task because my hair was in very bad shape, with various shades of blonde and yellow and lots of breakage. Not only did she fix it without any breakage, she did it in about 3 hours! Usually my double process takes 5+ hours. And my hair felt soft, when usually bleaching will make it feel dry. Her salon space was very clean, she was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to my concerns/ communication. I don’t have great pictures but I’m including before and after photos.

Priyanka Shah I recently had a Cezanne Keratin treatment at the salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The service was excellent, and Shirin and Amanda were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my hair needs and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. My hair feels smoother, healthier, and more manageable. I highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for quality hair care and a fantastic experience!

KARINA GRETCHEN SUTHERLAND Quality at the top, the best of the best. Madion Russo is the best stylist color and haircut design in all Hells Kitchen area, not only did a spectacular balayage perfect blending color but also my hair didn’t dry at all with the process, I absolutely recommend him.

Abigail Godfrey BELLA IS THAT GIRL!! After years of botched hair cuts, box dye, walking around looking crazy… I finally stumbled upon Bella at Bon Bon Salon. She made me feel so comfortable and secure in her hands. Bella was able to look at my face and understand what cut and color would best bring out my features. The way she was able to lift my color from black box dye horror into this gorgeous cinnamon-honey brown, is nothing short of a miracle. She actually understands how to cut layers properly - I think we’ve all been there with “lawnmower layers” in the past. The salon itself is incredibly clean and posh, the music is FAB, everyone here is so professional and I felt my every need was catered to. In addition to hair salon, you can also get massage, nails, make up… the possibilities are endless at Bon Bon Salon! This is the one stop shop for head to toe perfection. Thank you Bella and Bon Bon - I am a customer for life !

Diana Nassar I honestly can’t say enough great things about Mure Salon, specifically Sergio. He was so meticulous and attentive, taking the time to perfect every detail. I had a cut, color, and olaplex treatment. I’ve always had difficult to manage hair and it’s hard to find a color I’ve ever liked but walking out my hair feels so healthy, and I’m absolutely obsessed with the final result. It’s rare to leave a salon feeling way! If you’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but also genuinely cares about your hair, Sergio is the one. Highly highly recommend

Samantha Seaman Shear Bliss is my one stop shop for all of my hair needs. The staff is super welcoming, accommodating and friendly. My stylist, Michelle, never disappoints! I trust her work and I’m always leaving the salon feeling brought back to life. See you in a couple months!
