Nicole McCormick Kevin fixed things on my sons Mazda 2009 that other mechanics in town said were electrical and they would not touch it. Kevin is honest and does not turn you away if he can do the job!! Saved me so much money!! SHOUT out to Kevin AGAIN and XL Auto, I am over the moon happy with the service I received there this time and many times prior that I did not write about. I went to another local mechanic, (my husband goes there so I was just going to get an inspection) I told them I think I need tires but not sure, and they said I needed wheel bearings on front tires. Thank God a friend sold me the car and I was able to speak to him and he said absolutely not one is brand new!! Thank God I took it to Kevin who confirmed the wheel bearings were good and I needed tires. I would have been out 700 dollars from the other mechanic, and I would have still had loud road noise which would have cost me another 500 dollars if I had just done what they said. I cant believe this mechanic is doing this to their customers. They have been in business for years in Canandaigua so disappointed and just sad that you still cant trust mechanics because I feel as though they get a bad rap sometimes. Kevin has been a constant at XL auto and I couldnt recommend him more.

Mar Lo I really cant say enough how professional and helpful this place was. They have a great owner and a team that reflects him. I was out of town and they came to help me. They went above and beyond to help me get me to a tire shop and thats important to anyone traveling. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Brian McIntyre Tony and Toby repaired the body rust and repainted my 1968 Chevy Suburban. It was quite a mess when I limped it over to the shop and (mostly as a favor to me) they worked on it between other jobs. They faced a number of difficulties with restoration parts not fitting but with creative energy they got through them. When I finally saw it getting painted it reminded me of the old days when the truck looked pretty good. Right now it looks great and I am finishing the inside and some lingering mechanical work. Working with all the staff at Becker Motors was enlightening, encouraging, and inspirational in getting this oldie-but-goodie back on the road. Great experience!

Scott Ramirez I had a great experience with Monro and will consider having future work performed at this location. I purchased snow tires from The Tire Rack and TPMS sensors from Autel to be mounted on wheels from a car I replaced. I had the tires delivered directly to Monro #14 through Tire Tacks affiliate installer service. I also programmed the TPMS sensors myself and marked each with which location I wanted them installed. I ordered the tires on the Tuesday before thanksgiving and they arrived the next day. I received a call from the shop manager within 20 minutes of the UPS notification telling me that they were delivered. I brought the old wheels to them. They had the old tires removed, new TPMS sensors installed, new snow tires mounted, balanced, and installed on my car within 2.5 hours. This was the smoothest complicated purchase I’ve made in a long time. The store manager communicated well and the work was great. He even had my car parked just outside the front door with the factory wheels and tires loaded neatly in bags in the back of my new car. Well done!

WB I have been lived in Canandaigua for 10 years and used various car repair services. This is the best I have had. I checked for the oil leak, which I use other service for three times and the still leak. They quickly checked and tighter screws, and told me come back tomorrow if it is still leaking. After two days, no oil spots showing up on the garage at all. Excellent work and no charge. Much appreciated their good service and kind altitude to customer.

Pauline Tines Brought my car to be seen at Evans Automotive Service for some weird noises and very satisfied with their work. Have always worked with Matt for any repairs needed, he’s very responsive giving me updates along the way, explains when needed so I understand, very nice and calm. Highly recommended

Casey These guys are great. Best prices Ive found after shopping around, and theyre helpful. They didnt hesitate to look under the hood and check my car to make sure I was getting the right part. They offered advice on the cheapest way to fix my problem as well. Their location isnt visible from main street and I havent seen them advertised, but theyre the best around.
