Erin Kimberly Needed emergent help in November, my water pump needed to be replaced and all my coolant had leaked out. They got me in the next day, and had my car back to me within 2 days even with having to special order my parts. I moved out of that neighborhood but continue to go for my regular oil changes and services. They have fair pricing, they dont spring unnecessary repairs on you and are very transparent. I have had a lot of difficulties finding quality, dependable mechanics I the past who didnt try to over charge or over suggest things. I trust Berdars and appreciate the way they do business. Rachel Trainque Just brought my car here for an inspection and oil change and was very impressed. The prices are extremely reasonable and they never try to oversell you for things you don’t need. I go into work at 6:30, so used the drop box to leave my car the night before, which was very helpful. They called me the next day and my car was ready for same day pickup. No hassle or extras that you don’t need thrown at you when you go here. I just found my new go to for car maintenance and all future inspections. Highly recommend!

Daniel Hower I have nothing but praise for Albany Auto Service and Tire. I took my Pontiac G8 out for a drive for the first time this year and while the first drive was excellent, the next couple of times starting the car resulted in a flashing check engine light. Albany Auto Service and Tire was just a block away. After getting the car detailed, I started the car again and there was no check engine light so I slowly drove there. Despite being very busy they took my car in to check it with the scanner. The owner of the shop assured me that the code was temporary based on the fact that it had been garaged and on battery tender for many months and that nothing was seriously wrong with the engine. His insights reassured me that everything was ok. I cant thank Albany Auto Service and Tire enough.

Dan is a fantastic reliable person. I will always come here. PHOTO: Garages & Auto Service providers tend to be hyper masculinized places with an extra dose of toxicity. I’ve had bad experiences, I’ve had good experiences. The presence of anxiety is a common theme of both type of these experiences. A very small gesture like this one goes a long way, makes a customer feel safe & welcomed. Thankful for places like this.
