2 /5 Lynn Amy: We went the Art nails because it was a Saturday and the decision to get a mani/pedi was spontaneous, so we needed a place that took walk-ins. They were very rough on my 13 yr old daughters feet, as well as on mine (literally pressing nail up center of my foot, repeatedly), the water was cold, the tools (like the nail file) were clearly used and not the type that can be sterilized, and my cuticles were cut way back. I was bleeding when I left and currently (2 days later), I have two fingers that are tender, red, and slightly swollen around the edge of nail bed (i.e. the cuticle area). I will not be returning and was really disappointed that it was recommended to me. Oh, and the very first day, the polish completely peeled off of two of my daughters toe nails (meanwhile, I tried to remove my nail polish and it wont budge).
