Sheila Carpenter As a social worker advocating for a young man needing services from OPWDD I have had incredible assistance from Linda Herron, RN. This lady has been absolutely outstanding. In an attempt to advocate for this young man, 30 years of age with a dx of ADHD and autism, there are different challenges due to this . Understanding that she does not create the process, but she does have to make it work. They are incredibly lucky to have her on staff… And so are we. We all know that the school system fell short when they did not do an appropriate referral for Ethan upon graduation . So we are already behind the eight ball.. Her communication is consistent, Her explanation of needed documents that are unusual to this case is concise, her review of documents is timely. With all that, she is always polite and courteous, always available, always Returns calls, is pleasant and easy to deal with… Even when there are legitimate gripes like my computer system not working on my end and printing not coming out properly on her end because how my Apple system talks poorly to her computer system…. Never ever does she express a moment of agitation or aggravation. As a social work supervisor retired from New York State office of people with developmental disabilities after 33 years, this is the lady that everyone wants on their team. The New York State Department of Health is very lucky to have her… and so are we, the public. Many thanks, Linda. You do both the Department of Health as well as all Nurses, very proud.! GsXrHann I give Delcua a 10/10 recommendation. i had a procedure done on my face to remove 2 moles that i had the biggest insecurities with. I called, made an apt, a week later got them removed, today, i had gotten the stitches removed and now it’s healing time. i am so grateful for deluca and giving me a chance to appreciate myself the way i see myself now. will be coming back soon!

Girl Garden (GardenGirl65) This was the first appointment with this provider. I accompanied an elderly family member for their appointment. Dr Ted was kind and spoke directly with my family member. He also listened attentively to the details I recounted and then offered follow up input for moving forward. He also retrieved information quickly to help him evaluate the circumstances of the visit. He was clear on a f/u plan, his concerns and when to see him next. Directed us to other providers for f/u. He also discussed delicate information with my family member and was kind but direct re information and provided paper work and guidance. We both liked Dr Ted very much. Very productive appointment.

Sharon Pushman I took my 17 year old for a consult to have her compacted wisdom teeth removed. She is on the autism spectrum and although very high functioning, she gets anxious. The office was very pleasant from the moment we walked in. Reception was helpful at check in and put her and me both at ease. The assistant explained everything to us nicely and thoroughly. Then the doctor came in and graciously answered our questions. We both felt that it was a great experience and have her upcoming surgery scheduled.

Katherine DeMaria Albany Med is the second largest training hospital in the country. It should be known that you are putting your life in the hands of cocky Residents and interns who are not properly supervised .

kerra burns I really like my doctor here. That’s why I keep coming back. That said the office needs work. As soon as you walk up to the door there are signs that you need to wear a mask and if you don’t have one they will not provide you one, you have to reschedule. This is such a poor message to send to your patients. I understand that we have to wear a mask. I understand that people should be responsible enough to remember one, but denying someone a medical appointment because they forgot a 10 cent mask is an awful way to care for your patients. How hard is it to put a box of masks out if someone forgets instead of turning them away? I go into the waiting room and an older couple come in and the husband is in a wheelchair and obviously needs assistance. They wouldn’t let his wife stay with him to assist because she didn’t have an appointment. I understand they don’t want extra people in the office, but you really can’t make an exception for this situation? I have no complaints about the medical staff, my care has been good and the doctors are responsive. The front office could use a little more customer care.

Gary Zakrzewski Always on time, if not early. Staff is very friendly and always aims to please. Mr. Woodley is very professional but at the same time has a great personality and always a pleasure to see. Mr. Woodleys nurse is very pleasant and professional.

Katrina Krzemien Dr. Atalay has been great since I started seeing him a few years ago. He has been nothing short of straightforward in his treatment of me. Now I have annual checkups that I look forward to, just because they re more like a check-in with a dear friend.

Sata W I’m actually very emotional while writing this , the nurses and doctors in the PICU were nothing less than amazing, my 7 year old suffered from a severe asthma attack and everyone there treated her , me and her dad so wonderful, they handled her with such care and importance, I want to give a special thanks to nurse Emma and the guy she was training (sorry I didn’t catch his name) lol but they were so friendly and good with my daughter , my daughter really favored those 2. They made her feel so comfortable and catered too , They’re definitely in the right field caring for children, Albany med has the best PICU department ever.Thank you for everything, God bless you all ♥️
