America Ray Dr. Sandra Horn was the only provider that was phenomenal!! She provided therapy for my post partum stage and after. She has moved on to pursue other goals and she is definitely missed!!!

Lori Moorehead My 86 year young mother was admitted to this facility on March 6 and was there about 31/2 weeks. She has CHF and was in the hospital 30 days & had lost body mass. The rehab portion is excellent because they work the patients. Like any heath care facility today, there is a staff shortage problem. If Im visiting my mother and she has to wait 20 + minutes for assistance to use the bathroom, imagine how long she has to wait when Im not there. Mom said sometime an hour. Most of the staff are very nice, but family presence is definitely necessary. Mom had a incident 1st night which I had to address with administration the following day. Needless to say that never happened again. They have really nice activities for the patients. The facility was clean and the rooms are bright. The food was horrible. Really dry hard noodles & veggies & meat. They only get 3 stars because having available staff & decent food are very important tools needed for good rehabilitation. We brought our mom food from home, but everyone is not as lucky...just saying!!

Gary Zakrzewski Always on time, if not early. Staff is very friendly and always aims to please. Mr. Woodley is very professional but at the same time has a great personality and always a pleasure to see. Mr. Woodleys nurse is very pleasant and professional.

Sharon Pushman Honestly, Dr Suslak is amazing! He did surgery on my left shoulder a couple years ago for frozen shoulder. It was life changing. I was hesitant but instead of pushing me, he explained the options and I chose the surgery and I am so glad I did. Now I am having a problem with my right shoulder and I knew just where to go! I totally trust he will help me! More tests to come to determine the problem and then Dr Suslak will give me options for treatment. The office is well run too. Very efficient.

Tammy Brown I am a current patient here and I can honestly say I’ve had the best care. Started in ED. When I got here, it was quite busy so a small wait but after I found staff to be very friendly! Very friendly woman who took my first set of X-rays. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. She made me feel comfortable. We exchanged cat stories. The nursing staff is tremendous. Surgeons, everyone so far. Food is awesome! What surprised me was TV was not free. You had to pay for On Demand and I had a bit of a confusing time. I have no wallet or credit card. When I called the On Demand company, they did work with me and turned it on long enough to obtain payment from home. Thank you AMC!

Ashley Wysocarski Great team, I’ve had nothing but ease of scheduling and wonderful associates who have helped. Using the MyChart app has been a breeze, and the doctors or physicians assistance have set the standard of communicative.

Girl Garden (GardenGirl65) This was the first appointment with this provider. I accompanied an elderly family member for their appointment. Dr Ted was kind and spoke directly with my family member. He also listened attentively to the details I recounted and then offered follow up input for moving forward. He also retrieved information quickly to help him evaluate the circumstances of the visit. He was clear on a f/u plan, his concerns and when to see him next. Directed us to other providers for f/u. He also discussed delicate information with my family member and was kind but direct re information and provided paper work and guidance. We both liked Dr Ted very much. Very productive appointment.

Sheila Carpenter As a social worker advocating for a young man needing services from OPWDD I have had incredible assistance from Linda Herron, RN. This lady has been absolutely outstanding. In an attempt to advocate for this young man, 30 years of age with a dx of ADHD and autism, there are different challenges due to this . Understanding that she does not create the process, but she does have to make it work. They are incredibly lucky to have her on staff… And so are we. We all know that the school system fell short when they did not do an appropriate referral for Ethan upon graduation . So we are already behind the eight ball.. Her communication is consistent, Her explanation of needed documents that are unusual to this case is concise, her review of documents is timely. With all that, she is always polite and courteous, always available, always Returns calls, is pleasant and easy to deal with… Even when there are legitimate gripes like my computer system not working on my end and printing not coming out properly on her end because how my Apple system talks poorly to her computer system…. Never ever does she express a moment of agitation or aggravation. As a social work supervisor retired from New York State office of people with developmental disabilities after 33 years, this is the lady that everyone wants on their team. The New York State Department of Health is very lucky to have her… and so are we, the public. Many thanks, Linda. You do both the Department of Health as well as all Nurses, very proud.!
