Gabrielle An agent signed us up with this horrible company we never liked them but dealt with it. Over the weekend we received a letter from sterling stating they will not be renewing our policy because 1) we have too many dogs and the guy taking the pictures of our house was terrified of my black and tan coonhound, my hound was in a fenced in area of our yard. The guy also deemed my dog aggressive because my dog was barking at him. My dog was barking at a stranger on our property my hound was doing his job. Next the roof had some moss on it because the sun never hits that side of the house and the guy was here before spring cleanup. The moss is gone and lastly possible woodstove yes there was a woodstove but we removed it years ago however the chimney for it is still here however its capped inside the house. We had sterling for over a decade and zero claims but they still dropped us. Good riddance to a garbage insurance company. Look no Woodstove just a capped off chimney
I love the generic response. NO, I will not to be touch just so I can be annoyed all over again that ship has sailed. We already had another company come out to get pictures and even better the kind lady isnt afraid of dogs. She walked right up to the fence and pet all of my dogs they licked her hands.
Here is a final edit: I did call back to see if this could be resolved and spoke with Elaine apparently if you admit you dont like the agent Sterling puts you with they drop you for that reason. Its kind of like being in middle school only worse because were adults. Im thrilled that we are now insured with one one of the top 10 homeowners insurance companies in the United States. I found this company on my own no agent needed
