Saint Marys Catholic Church

Jeanne Arnoult Beautiful church, wedding ceremony, guests, attendants, family and so on. If only we could understand the pre-siding priest. He sure does need a lot more practice. Otherwise, very nice.

The City of Love

Madeleine D Just went and got tested for free at City of Love Church in Hollygrove. Yall, these people are saints and such an incredible blessing. Not only did they get me in and out in 5 minutes or less, but they gave me a bag of essential supplies and TWO boxes of food, along with having a table full of extra little free goodies. And then two different people there asked if they could please help me carry my stuff back out to my car. Every single person in there was so genuinely kind. Thank you thank you thank you to these incredible people on the front lines. It honestly brings me to tears to interact with such beautiful people in these cruel times.

Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Church

Louis and Elaine In the Garden District of New Orleans is the lovely Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. This great gothic church was dedicated in 1894 and I think is one of the most beautiful churches in the city. I have attended mass here and was astonished at the stained glass. When I visited for this review it was not open so I could only photograph the interior through the door. I look forward to returning when they are open.

NOLA Church

Tina Gaspard Id been looking for a new church home off and on for about three years and am so grateful to have found NOLA Church. I prayed for a place where I could feel the Spirit of God and receive life-giving teaching without feeling "preached at". From the moment the congregation started clapping together at the start of my very first service, excited to begin worshipping together, the tears started flowing and all these months later I still have the same response. Im so grateful that NOLA church exists and that the Lord led me there. Im equally grateful to everyone Ive met there for welcoming me in and always being willing to jump right into "real talk" or give words of encouragement. Its such a sweet and exciting place to walk out your faith. Couldnt recommend it enough!
