NOLA Church

Tina Gaspard Id been looking for a new church home off and on for about three years and am so grateful to have found NOLA Church. I prayed for a place where I could feel the Spirit of God and receive life-giving teaching without feeling "preached at". From the moment the congregation started clapping together at the start of my very first service, excited to begin worshipping together, the tears started flowing and all these months later I still have the same response. Im so grateful that NOLA church exists and that the Lord led me there. Im equally grateful to everyone Ive met there for welcoming me in and always being willing to jump right into "real talk" or give words of encouragement. Its such a sweet and exciting place to walk out your faith. Couldnt recommend it enough!

One Hope Church | New Orleans

William Sharpe A home from home! I was in town visiting for 2 weeks and wanted to check out an ARC church in the area. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel like one of the family, so many smiling, warm faces that made me feel so comfortable in an unfamiliar town. Everyone made such an effort with me, from the ushers, to the pastor! I hope I am back in New Orleans soon, bless this church!

Antioch New Orleans

Nick & Renee Doerfler This group of believers is amazing! Authentic, kind, loving toward one another, and in love with Jesus! We love their weekly house church gatherings as well as the corporate Sunday gathering and our kids love their Sunday class and housechurch gatherings as well!!! Every single time this church meets, they practice hearing the Lord’s voice together! As a result, everyone here is growing so rapidly in their relationship with the Lord! I have honestly never seen anything like it anywhere else…and we have been in some wonderful churches! But this place is uniquely on another level as it attempts to model itself after the early church described in Acts! LOVE IT HERE!! Look forward to every meeting! Definitely check it out for yourself! You won’t regret it!!

Redeemer Presbyterian Church

Curran Bishop Great community church. Singing hymns and courses to great saxophone music is both pretty unique and moving. Beautiful service, solid preaching. The parties are amazing and the community is both tight, and welcoming.

First Baptist New Orleans

Tony Nokeo I was just beginning my road trip when I decided before I went on my way, I would stop by a local Baptist church to praise our savior, Jesus Christ. I’m sure glad I did because every single staff and member made me truly feel as though I was a part of their church community. Chad, the pastor, saw me sitting by myself and introduced himself to me and we had a nice conversation and it turns out he knew one of the pastors at my home church. (Small world!) Afterwards, I attended a Bible study class and while it wasn’t as big as my own (This class had about 12 people while my own class has over 70 weekly), I was able to be more confident and spoke up. It was a great discussion. I highly recommend this church to anybody looking for a warm, loving, community that loves God. Even if you’re passing through (like I did), check out the service before leaving New Orleans. You won’t regret it! I’m recommending all my friends and everybody at Houston’s First to come here as their church away from their home church. Lord, bless Chad and this Church and it’s members!

St Georges Episcopal Church

Carla Waterfield We have been parishioners for 12 years. at St. Gs. St. Georges Church is a warm, friendly place where all are welcome. I love how we have everything from people in suits and dresses to shorts and t-shirts in the pews. We love the feeding ministry, Dragon Cafe. This parishioner led ministry feeds the needy every Sunday come rain or shine, through the holidays, pandemic, etc. We also love how the Rector ties the readings from the Bible into modern day happenings. We always leave with a since of hope and feeling uplifted.
