For the record, the accusations stated by Miss Diamonds and the unnamed Google User are untrue. This is not a congregation of Drunks, and they Do Not keep Christmas. This is a Church that has the testimony of Jesus the Christ, and keeps the Commandments of God, period.
I also know some in the COGMI and I am not aware of them condoning any such sins as spoken of in the unnamed reviewers quotes.
The same false accusations were said to Christ by the Pharisees, they said that He was not keeping Gods law, but He was. They said He was a winebibber (a drunk) but He was not, they accused Him of sitting with sinners, and He did, not to partake in their sin, but because they needed a physician.
Take into account that these unnamed reviewers are hiding behind the curtain hurling these unfounded accusations against the innocent, thereby bearing a false witness, they hide and snipe, not very christian. A person of God would face those they accuse openly, not hide in the dark, but come out into the light so the accused would have the opportunity to defend themselves and face their accuser.
