Danny B. The best tire shop I’ve ever been to - bottom line! I’m from out of town and needed 2 new steer tires for my truck! Everybody that works there from the mechanics to the front desk are very professional and know what they’re doing! They got me in right away - and gave me a really good deal ! Such caring people is hard to find these days !!!!! If I’m ever in need of new tires and I’m in the area, I will definitely come back again and I recommend you too! Thanks you guys!!!

Brenda Line We started having vehicle issues right before we got into town. We made it to the store and was sitting there with our hood up (pretty sure it was the alternator) and a few minutes before opening they came out to help us buy testing the alternator and getting us what we needed. Another man came in...and helped us out by leading us to a mechanic that Napa hooked us up with....it drained 1/4 mile away and this guy pulled us the rest of the way. The mechanic was closed on Saturday...but put the new alternator on for us. We feel blessed by 3 individuals in Salem, IL. Thank you Napa for helping us and leading us to the right people.

Jeff Cohen Called to have an airbag replaced, lady said they had one in stock. She double checked while I was on my way realized they didnt have one. Called me while I was enroute and told me that. Then- This lady called around found me one on the route I was already on and told them I was headed there. These are the kind of people who make life on the road a little more bearable, Im sorry I dont recall her name, but I am at the other mechanic and they are getting it done... thank you maam. That was kind of you to do that.

Jenny Holsapple This is one of the coolest places in town. Aaron Middleton is a top notch mechanic. His and Kellys collection of old cars is impressive. Stop in and take a look at all the old photos on the walls. Its trip down memory lane.

Larry Ohms Bob and his son are great mechanics. I had my car worked on a few times elsewhere. These guys were able to identify the problem quickly. Repair was done right. Honesty and professional service is difficult to find today. I Highly recommend Bobs auto! (A large diesel mechanic shop that also works on all cars and trucks.)

Crystal Kahre The guys at Russell’s Garage are GREAT!! Everyone is super friendly & very helpful! Shane is an awesome guy…Thanks again for all your help with the tire situation & the new tires are great (and much needed). Highly recommend them to anyone! Top notch people there!! Olivia Bierman Brandon is always so quick to get me in to the shop. I drive back and forth out of state, and he always does my tune ups and makes sure everything is safe for me! Super great prices, and probably the best customer service I have received in an auto shop. As a woman, I don’t feel overcharged and he takes the time to explain everything to me in terms I can understand and if it’s super important to take care of now or can wait. Very honest, and great customer service! Thank you again!

Kirk Henderson If youre looking for a locally owned, honest, fair, and efficient auto repair shop THIS IS IT! I have been taking all of my vehicles to Salem Auto Service for years for any service after the manufacturers warranty expires. Yesterday I needed a bulb replaced on my daughters Honda Fit that I just couldnt reach myself. Had the replacement bulb and everything. They got me right in, used the bulb I had, and completed the work in 20 minutes. Great shop!
