North Avenue Church - Athens (GA)

Amanda Wise Great church to go to if you’re looking to build a strong relationship with Christ. Everything they preach comes from the Bible, and they always have lots of events going on to get/stay involved! They’re very welcoming of anyone and there’s an especially large amounts of teens/young adults (12-35) that are involved and seem excited to live for God. Definitely recommend Athens Victory Chapel for anyone from any background!

Daniel Lackey A very vibrant, active, caring community, blessed with great priests who are also very involved in many of programs and activities and are also very personable and easy to talk to, and who are compassionate, good men. Whether you like to attend Liturgy of the Hours, offered before dail morning masses, or attend weekend services, offered at multiple times to accommodate most anyones schedule, they make it easy to find a convenient time to attend. Offering masses in English, Spanish and Latin, you have several masses to choose from. Finally, if youre looking for a parish to exercise your Catholic faith or desire to become a Catholic, St Joseph Parish and School will make you feel welcome and find the resources you need in order to help fulfill The Great Commission to spread the Good News of Christ" to all the earth.

Elizabeth Prata This church features strong Gospel expositional preaching, confessional devotionals with emphasis on repentance, and brotherly love to one another in small group and large group fellowship. Its doctrinally solid, led by loving and mature elders. The preaching is thrilling because it adheres to closely to the word of God exalted and explained. I highly recommend this church!

Natalia Ellis This was our first actual church many years ago. We also got married here. So many wonderful people. We miss them terribly. We moved to another state, but if we ever moved back to Athens this is where we would be.

Kelly Scott Such a wonderful place. Everyone welcomes you with open arms. The academy is great! Teachers are educated, fun, and communicate well with parents.

Jim C Very engaging & welcoming community of believers of Jesus Christ. They have a great childrens ministry with caring and loving staff and teachers. Church is a diverse community of young and old and from different ethnicities which is very refreshing. They worship with and without musical instruments. Loved the message on spiritual giving.
