1 /5 Sonny Jhaveri: It’s May be case of mis diagnose, but I’m the one who had to comes up with around $640 & my 2012 VW CC still have same problem.
While I was driving my car, suddenly my panel light up like fire works,(the pic with 19 trip miles). So I tried to look for good repair shop & I see all 5star on Dixon’s Automotive, so I decided to give them my car for repairing on 8/21/18.
Long story short they says (all details are in invoice) I need new turbo & speed sensor & battery are May be at fault to show all warning lights.
Fast forward to few days for repair & when done on 8/24/18, they have change the turbo (which I supply & he inspect & said it will work) & speed sensor. And recommend to change battery. I happily paid $ 641.00 even though they didn’t take off scanning charges.
Next day 8/25/18,I went to Auto Zone, where he told me that your CCA needs 540 & you have 620 CCA, so you are ok with your battery. Fine. So I start for Cornelia to see my cousin. When I reach commerce, ALL WARNING LIGHTS COMES BACK & my heart sink to …
On 8/27/18 I went back to Dixon’s Automotive & he told me that I need new battery & it will take care of it, so I said fine put one in. When he called me in the late afternoon, he said that, even with the new battery, now we find that you need sensor on the right side(see the invoice;), & we find 2-3 more fault, we have to take care.
At this point I lost my trust in their ability to diagnose & repair(at least my VW CC ). So I said please take the battery off & let me take my car & I left with SOUR FEELINGS OF LOOSING MY $640.
Don’t take me wrong, Mr. Dixon was all gentleman he can be(1 star for that), but I was looking for good repair shop & fixing of my VW CC & wanted to drive out without any warning light. May be this was one of the bad mishap BUT I FEEL I LOST MY HARD EARN $$$ because of their mis diagnose or mis repair.
