1 /5 Dustin Johnson: I had a highly disappointing experience with Coastal Automotive. Despite been a Loyal Customer to them for many years servicing my vehicles. However on May 6, 2025, my 2016 Buick Enclave was misdiagnosed with a steering rack and pinion issue despite my suspicion and mentioning to them of a power steering pump problem, leading to unnecessary repairs costing $1,815. The issue persisted after the service was completed, and another service provider confirmed the power steering pump was the actual problem. Additionally, a prior oil change at Coastal Automotive resulted in my oil cap was left off, causing check engine lights to my vehicle. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the manager, also with the manager promising/feel like trying to calm the situation down by providing me future vehicle services with Coastal Automotive. There was no refund or satisfactory resolution was provided as of July 18, 2025. I expressed frustration over poor communication, unprofessional handling, and financial loss. I advise against trusting Coastal Automotive for reliable service. Go Somewhere Else.
