Joe Houston Been taking my vehicles to Chris since I moved here in 2008. Never had a problem. Every time I go there, I give Chris a blank check...."do whatever is needed" and Ive never felt taken advantage of. Been several times Ive said, "I think (whatever) probably needs to be done." Many times I come back and Chris will say, "Yeah, we looked at that and its fine, maybe next time but youre good for now." Not many car repair shops that I trust to not take advantage but Chris never has.

On April 26, 2025, a Saturday, while we were traveling from Kentucky to Fayetteville, NC the check engine light came on in our 2000 Lincoln LS and the vehicle began to shake intermittently as vehicles do when they have a misfire. We had commitments to family and friends on Sunday as well as Monday morning, so we limped around and met those. At noon on Monday, having read positive reviews about Fayetteville Auto Service, we visited their shop. We expected they would tell us they could work on the vehicle sometime during the next couple of days. It is sometimes hard to get someone to work on an older vehicle. BUT, they said they would work us in, diagnose the problem and repair it if possible. It was possible! The ignition coil on the number one cylinder had to be replaced. Within two hours we were back on the road. Very professional. Reasonable prices. We highly recommend these people.

I prayed and prayed for someone who would be reasonable, trustworthy, and actually get the job done right—and they delivered. They replaced my valve gasket and had everything done in a timely manner, with great communication throughout the process. It’s so hard to find someone dependable when it comes to car repairs, but I can honestly say I’ve found my go-to. I’ll definitely be using them again for anything else I need.
