5 /5 Laurie Stine: Ive been going to Fitness 1440 for several years now and over the past 17 months have worked out with their trainer Jeshua. Jeshua is the best! Ive had other trainers in the past that it felt like I was getting a "cookie cutter" routine. Jeshua listens to your goals and truly builds a program for you individually. As he observes your progress he will make tweaks as needed and truly pushes you to be your best. Not to mention, he will never have you do anything he wont do himself & he usually has tested it himself to make sure it will be effective. I cant recommend him enough.

5 /5 Loraine York: PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS: My husband & I have been members of Fitness 1440 for about 2 years & have watched the amazing transformation of this gym from a dirty, bug infested, dusty gym into a clean, functioning, well organized, not crowded, friendly, locally owned & operated place to exercise. Up until a month ago, Fitness 1440 had two indifferent, absent, out of state owners. In my opinion, any reviews posted from 3 weeks or more should be discarded as they no longer apply. Since Jaime & her partners (Fitness 1440 members) acquired ownership, the gym is clean (and cleaned daily), the equipment is working (and if it isnt, which happens with exercise equipment, it is repaired quickly), cleaning supplies are readily available for members to sanitize equipment after use. Jaime has begun adding classes which are challenging & worthwhile. She is open to suggestions ...Id love to see even more classes : ) ... and I think they will happen but everything takes time when you are a new owner. I have read Bobby LaCoys recent review & I can tell you that the pictures that are posted are definitely not recent. His inability to cancel his membership had to be with the prior owner ... Jaime is at the gym 5-7 days a week and if she isnt present, she has professional, courteous employees there during staffed hours to help members. The review just doesnt make sense. Jaime is a personal trainer (my husband & I trained with her for over a year) so we know first hand that she takes fitness seriously which includes maintaining safe & functioning equipment. Sure, she & her partners inherited some pads that are cracked & they are in the process of updating & revitalizing the equipment - this wont prohibit anyone from having a safe, exercise experience. It just takes time. People who read Google reviews are, for the most part, intelligent educated people who want to make a wise decision. I get it. If you need a local gym, accessible 24/7, owned & operated by your neighbors, stop in. Check it out. Ask questions. Try it out. Dont base your decision on a disgruntled non-member or a person who wants 2 memberships for the price of one. Fitness 1440 is a small business, not Amazon... And, once you are a member, if you dont like something, talk face to face with the owner(s) and make your suggestions. The owners are there to make Fitness 1440 Buford the best gym in the area & they are well on their way.

5 /5 Sharon Russum: I just joined today, 6/30/25, so I cant speak to working out yet. However, Garrett, the GM, was great! He made signing up seamless and showed me around. He was very friendly and professional! Im happy to hear this is a family owned gym and I am looking forward to experiencing what they have to offer.

1 /5 Bobby LaCoy: Worst gym Ive ever been a member of, huge health and safety hazards. Impossible to cancel membership, owner wouldnt respond to emails, no answer when called, voicemail full, went during the day to cancel and nobody there. After months of trying to cancel I had to eventually call ABC the financial institution for this gym, they were unable to get a response from the owner as well. ABC said they would stop charging my card, which they did. I thought this was finally resolved, now today a year later, I got a message that Fitness 1440 sent me to a debt collector and it dropped my credit score 28 points. This is the most disgusting gym in the Buford area, dead and live cockroaches everywhere, trash cans are never emptied, thick layers of dust on all the machines and ceiling fans, cable machines are literally held together with tape, all pads are cracked. There are a ton of other issues, but this has already wasted too much of my time. Your members deserve better!

5 /5 Tristan campellone: Been going here for close to two years I believe. The equipment is always clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. no long waits or overcrowded spaces. It honestly feels like having a home gym, but with way more options and better gear. The layout is comfortable and organized, and there’s a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to focus without feeling overwhelmed. Everything is set up in a way that just works, making each workout smooth and stress free. If youre looking for a clean, well equipped space that feels personal and hassle free, this gym is a perfect choice. Plus the staff is nice.
