5 /5 L J: I am 72 years old and been having my teeth cleaned for 60 years. Never, ever, have I had my teeth cleaned the way this technician cleans your teeth. Her name is Jennifer. She is an amazing dental hygienist. You dont even know that she is in your mouth. Im not kidding you when I say this, and l am not exaggerating. She has cleaned my teeth twice. Each cleaning has been exceptional. Each timenot once and l am not exaggerating, never once did I feel a prick, any type of pain, and my teeth were clean to exception. She is an exceptional hygienist. Jennifer is a true asset to this practice. She is kind, patient and extremely thorough. She truly cares about your teeth, your mouth and how you take care of it. She treats your mouth as if it were hers. There arent enough words to describe this woman and her commitment to you the patient. Jennifer, thank you.

5 /5 Greiger: Came in for dental pain as a one off visit since Im moving soon and my normal dentist was unavailable before I would be moving. And they still treated me great. Jennifer and Ziggy the assistants were so patient with my horrible gag reflex during x-rays, and I feel terrible that I made their jobs harder despite them saying it wasnt a big deal. Dr Kim was also patient with me, and while I didnt catch their names the front desk and dental hygienist were also a pleasure to work with. They set up a plan for me, and while I still have some pain, just what was done so far with a detailed cleaning relived it a lot. I would be happy to be a regular patient there if I wasnt leaving the state!

1 /5 Debra Bordeaux: I made an appointment for a new patient exam with Dr. D.Kim on 5/7/2025 at 4pm. This was at the Ormond Beach Family Dentist office location at 1200 West Granada Blvd. I phoned several times to confirm my appointment as a professional courtesy. I made the appointment with the sincere hope to establish care with an in network provider. I have an outstanding dentist and hygienist who are both kind, gentle and proficient and professional. Their practice does not take my insurance although when I first saw them they did take it. I arrived early for the appointment. They had the wrong first name entered into the computer for me. Also, I did not plan on having x-rays at this appointment. I had wanted to see Dr. Kim to decide if this was a good place for care. There was a lot of loud talking and yelling between staff. A male employee took me back to do films. I was concerned about his lack of handwash8ng as he had come out to the waiting area carrying two bags of garbage immediately prior to calling me back. I was put in a very old narrow chair in a dingy dirty room where I could see and hear what the hygienist and dentist were saying to other patients. I mentioned to the hygienist that I had just had two recent cleanings and that my pockets were good. I had been sick with a severe allergy cold which I told her was causing some overall inflammation. I had to ask her to wash her hands. She proceeded to try to sell me her experience in a prior office. Dr. Kim came in briefly. He did not seem interested in me as a patient at all. He was cold and impersonal. I was taken by the male employee to see an office manager who tried to sell me a treatment plan. I told her I would not be back. I signed a release form to have my dental films emailed to me which she promised to do and has not done. On 5/9/25 I phoned and a woman named Destiny took my information and said she would do it right away. When I returned home from work I checked my email for the films and it had not been done. I sent a text message and two more emails to their office and will follow up this week to try to get it taken care of appropriately. I am going to reach out to my insurance carrier as well. I would have given them no stars except for the male employee who did try to be polite and kind. He needs to member to follow good handfasting practices.
