1 /5 Brittany Grant: Car wouldn’t shift into drive- had it towed in- called over the first week- receptionist is rude and snarky. Spoke with shop owner, voiced my concerns about putting money into this car, several reasons, age, and number one it was from up north and rust was an issue. Mechanic called back asked for a deposit and stated they would start on it as soon as parts came in that some bolt were rusty (expected that).
A month into this job, my only transportation, still not ready- no return calls for weeks. Finally get ahold of someone and there was an issue with parts getting shipped and parts not included- quoted 3000 for this job- again voiced concerns about dumping money into it. 6 weeks later pick up my car, 6000 but they gave us a discount of 500 for a quoted job of 3000 and that was with a deposit. Car idles high, drives itself no gas needed, jumps ahead at stop lights, almost rear-ended multiple cars on my way home. Called the garage and was told it ran great when they took it for parts to the dodge garage. Took exhaust off- didn’t replace any gaskets just put it back up- exhaust has fallen apart- didn’t weld the break that we had originally asked for to be repaired. Two months later, have the car up on ramps to fix the rest of the exhaust and find the entire frame is rotted out. WHY would you not show your customer that! WHY would you not mention a safety hazard like that! To put a buck in your pocket?
If a no star or negative star was a rating you would max out on the highly unprofessional work, lack of respect and communication for your consumer, and clear motive to only make a buck- absolutely would not recommend unless you just want to burn money.
