1 /5 Steven McCormick: Although I believe Dr Tan is a great surgeon and did well resolving my issue some of her staff are atrocious. I’ve never felt so belittled and minimized by a surgeon’s office staff. I felt like Dr Tan was caring and compassionate but her gatekeeper PA Candy, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. Each interaction I had with her was strange to say the least. Even the recovery staff at the hospital agreed with me and couldn’t understand what was going on with her attitude. Almost as if she had some sort of chip on her shoulder or personal issue with me. I’ve had several surgeries in my lifetime and have never been treated this way before. It’s pretty bad when you have to get the office manger involved multiple times to get help with resolving issues that some of the other staff won’t help you with for whatever reason. I truly hope I never require the services of this office or facility again and will be sure to go elsewhere at all costs. They seriously need to look at their staff to figure out why they can’t be a little more compassionate and understanding. Rather than jump to some sort of preconceived conclusions and be so dismissive of how someone feels. The patient should have the say when it comes to whether or not they are fully healed versus being told flat out that you are completely and totally at 100 percent. This is by far the strangest interaction I’ve ever had with medical professionals.

5 /5 Gina Hodges: Dr. Jon Moore was professional, thorough and listened to my concerns when we discussed my upcoming surgery. He made me feel at ease and I would highly recommend him. His staff was helpful and personable. A great experience during a difficult time.

5 /5 Cynthia Ellis: I was there for outpatient, partial Mastectomy surgery with Dr. Dial. Patient registration was a tad slow with only one poor lady to check you in. In the end, not a big deal as I’m sure there were a lot of late/non-on time arrivals. All the staff were so friendly (even though I was not as friendly as I was starving, had a headache and very anxious for my surgery). The staff, nurses and doctors were all kind and understanding. My anesthesiologist nurse ’Vic’ was so kind and tried very hard to make us laugh in an non-laughable situation. He was very comforting to have by my side as he whisked me off to sleep for my procedure. A very pleasant experience over all considering my circumstances. They all kept my husband informed at all times throughout my surgery. I was very pleased with the service I received from West Florida Hospital. I have had 3 surgeries, this was my 4th and I’ve never had a good experience such as the one at West Florida. THANK YOU TO ALL THE HOSPITAL STAFF AND FRONT LINE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS FOR CONTINUING TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CARE FOR/TO EVERYONE! Please know how you are much appreciated! ❤️

5 /5 Meghan Robbins: Dr Dial and his staff, Tammy and Jamie, took amazing care of me. Dr Dial spent the time to explain my procedure in detail and made sure I understood any and all challenges. My surgery was uneventful, my 8.5" incision was precisely stitched, and he has been prompt and listened to my concerns in my follow-ups. Tammy has been easily contacted and replied swiftly to set up appts, and Jamie has been helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly in assisting Dr Dial. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate the service and care I received in the hands of this group.

5 /5 Christine Stansbury: This was the best experience that was so unexpected. I ended up in the ER and needed unexpected surgery. Dr. Sharma was gracious to accept me as his patient, and I received the surgery the same day. He was very informative of every step that would be taken. Everyone in the office was gracious. West Fl hospital is second to none.
