Daytona Hernia Center - Daytona Beach (FL)

June Phillips I was inpatient for a total of 8 days. Although nobody wants to be in the hospital, the exceptional care and friendliness of everyone made it bearable. The ER was super busy but they seemed to keep that moving along and taking care of everyone as best as possible. Everyone on the 10th floor was exceptional, the cleaning staff, nurse techs, nurses, and docs… Thank you for the care and kindness!

L J Im extremely impressed with the Fitness Center at Halifax Hospital. Lynn the manager is an amazing asset to Halifax. Shes always willing to help and go the extra step. She is friendly, kind and very encouraging She never makes you feel like you are a bother. I was going to change insurance companies but it wouldnt have included this Fitness Center and because of that I decided to stay and not change my insurance, so I could stay at this Fitness Center because of the attention that youre given and the cleanlines of the gym. The staff is extremely friendly and the Fitness Center is very clean and always kept in an orderly fashion. Thanks to all, especially Lynn.

Laura Garand This place is amazing with an amazing staff! For the past 15 years I’ve taken care of people in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, ALFs, and memory care. Select Specialty is not like any of these. The patient gets the best care possible meaning constant attention from staff. My gratitude goes to Ismael and Mary (PT/OT). They treated my loved one with with smiles, encouragement and good pep talks. The Dietician Anne stops in every day and is so accommodating. She always had a smile and and is a good listener. The Respiratory Tech John comes in daily and has such a great attitude. He loves his job and his patients. I also want to give special mention and thanks to James the Charge Nurse and CNAs: Chito, Betzy and Nurses:Alexis, Jamie,Juan,and Jimuel. Of course I want to thank Chuck(Director) and Rob (CEO) both of these men are always available and walk the halls with smiles.

Kathy Cole We have been going here for 6 yrs, The best NP they had was Tammy who we miss so very much. Then we had Ashley who was very nice and helpful now she is gone as well. I am waiting to see who they get to replace them. We have had no issues when we did have to see other doctors at any of their locations. It is also great that they have a location opened two days a week late evening hrs for working parents.

Cheryl Sorrill I was recently at Ormond Memorial after going into Afib. I was admitted to the 3rd floor and under went several heart tests. I was so impressed with my nursing and lab staff. Their kindness and empathy was phenomenal!! I have been in numerous hospitals over my 62 years and must say that this team was by far the best. It wasn’t just one particular nurse, the whole team were professional and kind! Their willingness to help in any way was so appreciated! A big shout out to Kat, Sindu, Alyssa, Shelly, Joy, Wilma, Alexis (lab) and I’m sorry I didn’t get some of the others names, but you know who you are. All of you need to be recognized for a job well done. And a big Thank you to Dr. Kazie and the charge nurse who stood up for me in a difficult and upsetting situation. Gen M. Dr Vignali is very kind and considerate, he cared for me throughout my pregnancy and always made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff is super kind and accommodating and all made my labor and postpartum an enjoyable experience.

Ronald Buckmaster Excellent primary care physician Dr Dessavre is primary care physician for both my wife and myself. She is thorough, patient,intelligent, friendly and has properly diagnosed every problem we have brought her. In my 80 years she stands out as the best PCP I have encountered. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring conscientious physician. Ron - November 03, 2023

Sarah Tovar I have been coming here for years for my mental health needs and have always had good providers that listen to my concerns and come up with a good plan to better accommodate my mental illness. The thing I wish they would improve on is the receptionists by training them properly. When you call this mental health center you are connected to a call center and there is no way to directly reach the office, which is a major inconvenience. When finally reaching someone the staff typically does not know how to speak to patients as they are rude with a tone/attitude. It might sound like a small issue but if you ask me, staff should know how to speak to patients better, especially being a mental health office. 5 stars to the providers that listen and address all of my concerns. 1 star to the receptionists who are highly untrained. 3 stars overall.

Melanie Vining Stephanie Sanchez and the entire staff was wonderful! Brought my husband there with a medical issue and within 30 minutes he had answers and a plan to recovery. We are from upstate NY and we would still be waiting for an appointment. Absolutely blown away with the attention he received and in such a friendly, helpful, and speedy way. I would highly recommend this office and Stephanie Sanchez to anyone!

Elizabeth Price I booked an appointment online at 1am for 9am. I was early and made sure to do the check in. I was taken back early, tested, and spoken to in a timely and professional manner. I was on my way to pick up my prescription by 9:17. This is the quickest urgent care I have ever been to. Ive been with advent health since Oct of last year and havent had a bad experience with them at all. The urgent care visit was fast, the nurse made sure to ask about the tests I wanted to run, and the NP made sure to communicate with me, made sure to switch a prescription because of an allergy, and both told me and gave me written instructions for my prescription. All around just a pleasant experience which was wonderful to not be stressed out when I was feeling so ill. Thank you all so much!
