4 /5 Ben Johnson: Great college with outsanding professors, Dorm life here is incredible and super happy with enrolling my children. Their in their 2nd year and still no regrets, as a parent the level of care has TRULY kept me satisfied. I would give them 5 stars if possible but a little disspointed with the summer service post hurricane last year, still, aboslutley incredible college, defintley worth your application, you wont regret it!!!

5 /5 Tanweer Kaleemullah: Our kids have been part of their homeschooling Great Books courses, which have been enriching and beneficial for their growth in writing and improved critical thinking (not to mention reading the classics). Additionally, though we are of a different faith, they provided a fair and open forum for discussion that allowed and welcomed substantive discussions across faiths.

5 /5 Sabrina B: Houston Christian University is a great school. They challenge you to think critically about your faith. The way the professors show you how God is truly in everything is Amazing. My faith is being strengthened as I attend this school.

4 /5 Bunni: If you are looking for faith-based education this is the university for you! As a student here Ive loved spending my undergraduate time here learning and be surrounded by Gods people and in this review I am going to be sharing both the best and worst things about this university. I will start with the worst to get it over with. The worst: • Tutoring Center - There isnt as many tutors as they advertise and vast majority of classes dont have tutoring available. • Dorms - Not the universities fault, but its alot of unnecessary stress because unfortunately some students just dont know how to behave. • Math & Science (Non-Nursing) Department - Not all, but some of the professors just are beyond unprofessional and clearly dont care about their students being successful at all. • Lack of variety of Clubs/Organizations - Theres alot of clubs but alot of them are basically the same thing and not very appealing. If you care about a social life, youd have better luck just talking to people in your classes then joining a club. UNLESS your joining one of the faith clubs like navigators or something like that. Then it would be worth joining for sure. • Lack of student parking - Self explanatory The best: • Faith • Community • 504, and various Accommodations • Student Support & Advising • Financial aid • Commuter life • Admissions process
