5 /5 Leanne0531: I love this college It has the most wonderful and amazing employees and I’ve never had a problem with the employees here, Since I started in 2020. Anytime I need help with something they never pass the bucket, they always help me and know what to say. If they don’t know it then they give me a recommendation on what to do. I transferred here from HCC due to so many locations, I couldn’t keep traveling everywhere to all these locations so I transferred here. I was doing very good at HCC but I was going to drop out of college because the drive to the colleges was extremely outrageous and I have panic attacks going down town due to a car crash I suffered in 2018. I love this college because where I live is only 15 minutes from my house and it’s an absolute extremely easy drive there. I’m going here for child development and my professors are always the nicest people and very supportive. The Office of Disability, such very good and kind people to their students with disabilities. I had so many issues with the disability office at HCC but here I’ve never had a problem with them. They always know what to say and how to help you better with your disability. I have ADHD and if I am ever in a classroom then the seat is reserved for me because I have to sit in the front of the class, I won’t be able to pay attention to anything the professor says if I am in the back. I am very lucky that I am at this college because it beats HCC and all its issues. I give this place more than 5 stars for its amazing job by the employees and professors. If anyone is looking for a college then come here because it’s only 1 campus and not so many locations like HCC. Come and get your studies here because you will be extremely happy and impressed.

HCC - Houston Murphy L: Rude in the most disgusting way. The head of this department, Ms. Virginia has a nasty, dismissive attitude she talks to you like youre unworthy and youre complete garbage and this is over the phone without ever having met you to even be able to judge you as someone she should be talking to like trash. Prospective students calling trying to make a plan to better their lives should proceed with caution because the person in charge of this location seems to lack respect and decency towards strangers. If youre immune to being spoken to in an abusive manner that makes you feel less than, then you may do well dealing with this rude women, but if your family raised you to give respect and seek respect you will be highly offended after dealing with this staff. Its disgusting and disappointing that an educator doesnt have the good sense to know not to talk to students like theyre worthless idiots. My God, one discussion turned into such a disheartening and disturbing experience. Run, find another school or prepare to be offended and angry at how you are treated

HCC - Houston Community College - Katy Campus - Katy Karime Herrera: The staff is nice but not very knowledgeable. Even as a returning student they make everything more complex than it has to be. I would seek help with another campus if possible. I had to fill out my financial aid application three times and still didn’t get to submit it because of the staffs miscommunication and lack of knowledge.
