1 /5 Ariel Elrod: I wouldn’t call this an “upscale” salon, nor was it very relaxing… located in an older building, front door open, cars honking and little bugs lingering around me during the whole service.
I got a pedicure. The technician seemed nice but was behind on time. Anyway, she told me she couldn’t cut my nails because my skin was too close to the nails, this resulting to her only using a file which took a long time, I noticed my nails were different lengths and she argued they weren’t, I just gave up. I have no understanding as to why she wouldn’t cut them as I have been getting pedicures for several years and no one has ever brought this “issue” to my attention or refused to cut my nails with clippers, I have also cut my nails myself with no “issues”….
The massage was nice, she painted my nails and did a top coat, said they were dry and I was good to go so I left. I wore sandals/was barefoot the rest of the night, I took a shower about 3 hours later and all the polish smudged all over. I also noticed my feet are very dry on the bottom still so I don’t think they have a good procedure intact for pedicures, it seemed very basic/low end.
Overall, there were more negatives than positives, I feel like I wasted my time and money, I would not recommend this salon and I will not be back.
