Always a little nervous about letting a new tech do my nails, but they did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back when I’m in the neighborhood again.

Ksenia Ledneva When I moved to Santa Barbara it was very hard to find a good, high quality spot for mani/pedi and finally I found the Springtide. It’s a great place with nice atmosphere and professional service. The place itself is very cozy and well designed.

Regina Breech Helen is by far the best nail artist I have ever been to and she is definitely the fastest! She has meticulous attention to detail, and is extremely consistent. I love my nails every single time I go to her, which is often! I’ve never been to another nail tech that is as consistent and as fast as Helen. I highly recommend her! Megan Krul Papillon is the best nail salon Ive been to! Gypsy is AMAZING, she takes great care into making sure her clients nails are healthy and to their liking. She always makes sure to make my nails as perfect as she can. No one has ever done my nails better! I never leave feeling disappointed. My mom gets her nails done by Jimmy, and says the same of him as well. Theres no TV in the studio, which is very relaxing as they play a great mix of music instead. They only take appointments, so when you arrive you wont have to wait around or feel like theyre rushing. With that being said, I highly recommend making sure youre not late for your appointment because if you are, it puts them behind for everyone else and thats not good for anybody. I used to go to Ocean Nails and would always get dip, but they would break within a week and a half. At Papillon, my dip nails last nearly 3 1/2 weeks! In the photo: I asked Gypsy for baby pink tips, and that I needed help picking a base. She, as always, came to the rescue and helped me pick the perfect combo!

Rachel Steffens Ive gotten my brows waxed numerous times in the past at other locations. I can honestly say the service I received (from Celeste) was the least painful, with the nicest, most natural results Ive ever gotten. She listened to my requests exactly. Highly recommend and Im glad I have a new waxing place in town.
