1 /5 Amy McFarland: My husband and I both had a new patient appointment to establish care with the nurse practitioner Heather. They put us in a room together which was no problem. Heather came in never introduced herself, just apologized for the small room. Ask normal questions to both of us. Spent a little more time with my husband’s history . No physical exam was completed on either of us. Less than 45 minutes total for both from the time we were taken back. My bill came it was over 200 bucks, I thought a little high for the service, but it is over priced Sutter. Then about a month later we get my husband’s bill for over 300!! I don’t know why it took them so long to send his bill since we were together. He called them to find out the price discrepancy. They said he was rated more complex! What!! He only takes vitamin supplements and he was having a minor issue. And we did ask for a referral. Again no physical exam- Literally nothing a MA couldn’t have handled! We Asked them to review the charges. After waiting 30 days, of course they aren’t budging. I looked at both the records and she put that she did a physical exam! And she put he has some heart condition that he doesn’t! Not only are they over priced, they are being fraudulent with our medical records! Never going back!
