cassie corridoni The guys at Auto Stop are the best in town. Being new to Chico I didnt know of a mechanic to trust so I asked a friend whos lived in Chico for 30+ years and he swore by them. Ive used Auto Stop for a year now for brakes, leaks, checking out my car when I hear a strange noise, and even changing a headlight bulb. Every single time they give me a wonderful experience, never charging me over and always managing their customers well as the job is typically done quite fast! I cannot say enough how comfortable I feel bringing and entrusting these guys with my vehicle. As a bonus, theres a sweet pup you can pet while you wait! Highly recommended!

Cheryl Benge I usually work on my own stuff and was Skeptical about going to any shops. (Because Im a girl and will not deal with BS) A car friend told me they were honest... so I took a chance. Wendy Bustamante I’ve been bringing my Honda civic here for a little while now to get oil changes. Recently I brought up a loud engine roar noise the car would make while driving on the road. Robert suggested what the issue might be without even looking at it. We set up service to bring the car in and get the issue officially diagnosed and he was right! It ended up being what he had suggested. Something about the wheel bearing on one of the wheels being loose/worn out. After picking up the car and driving it around for two days now, the noise is completely gone. Sounds good as new again! I really like this place. Robert is really friendly, the service is good and honestly I think the prices are right around average going rate for the services.

Trey communicated with us clearly during the process and you can’t even tell where the car was damaged before! Overall a very positive experience and we will be returning customers should we require body work again.

Josh Iverson Sean was AWESOME. He was flexible with me having to cancel one day and showing up a little late to my appointment the next time which was great seeing as Im trying to juggle 2 kids on any given day. Super quick and efficient, and great funny conversation while he was getting the job done. I will 100% be back the next time we need a smog.

Tek Nynja These guys are awesome! My son is attending CSU Chico and discovered that not only had a squirrel built a nest in his engine compartment, it had chewed through a couple of wiring harnesses! I contacted Chico Car Care because of the great reviews here, and wasnt disappointed. Dan took great care of us and they were able to repair the wiring for less than their estimate! They made it easy to handle the entire process remotely from over 500 miles away using text messages and web-based documents. My son was back on the road in a couple of days, and for less $ than I thought it would be. They even sent a ride-share service to pick him up when the car was done. Excellent service and we will be going back to them again if we need to get the car serviced again. Highly recommend!
