Ayn Devera I have been searching for a hair stylist for almost two decades since I moved back home to Ventura from the SFV. I am ecstatic to have landed at Pure Hair. Crosby is so talented and genuine. His salon is serene and bright. Shay has become my stylist from now on (forever, I hope), because I have finally found someone that can work with my long, fine hair. She listens, takes her time, and transforms it to have more body and movement just the way I want!

Erin Thompson I’ve been getting my hair done here with Kelsey and Becky for a few years now. They are both so sweet and good at what they do! Highly recommend Kelsey for your vivid colors and Becky for classic colors. Love them!

Kelsi Hoover The Hair Parlor is inviting with bubbly and friendly people working there. It is located upstairs and has a good view. They have a bathroom for clients to use and give you the option to have a drink while you wait. The process was easy for booking and text reminders are sent out to confirm, which is super helpful! The "vibe" is very Ventura and I highly recommend! My teen daughter went to Lauren to get her hair dyed and styled. Lauren helped my daughter to feel confident in her decision. She had a Pinterest idea of what she wanted and Lauren helped her decide what color and type of dye would work best for the intended outcome she was looking for. Parking situation: The paid parking along the street was made easy through the Park Mobile app and it allows you to choose where you are parked and for how long. Although its frustrating to pay for parking, it is well worth it. The process start to finish took 2-2.5 hours and $3 in parking was well worth it.

Jet Walked into the salon, ended up chatting with Monica about what I wanted, and was able to schedule an appointment a few days later. She lifted portions of my dark brown hair & we did a fun color block with an array of colors. I was in need of a tune up for sure! Went from a shaggy mess to something cute & colorful. I loved it so much that I went in a few days afterwards to lift more & add more color to my bangs. Thanks so much Monica!!

April Espinoza Yesterday I made an online appointment through the system they provided for 9:00am. Parked at 8:55 and waited but no showed up. I called no answer. Had to go search for another salon that thankfully took us in.

Anna Pont Parker I went to I Capella Salon for Kylah and the outcome couldn’t have been better!!! She was lovely, kind and attentive to detail; Kylah asked me what I was looking for and proved how much knowledge and experience she has amongst answering all my questions, I can’t definitely recommend her enough and will definitely come back if Kylah is there!! Elizabeth Abergel Hair Apothecary is the best ! I have known Amanda for years and I highly recommend her for anyone especially women with thick , kinky hair. She is very patient when blow drying my hair and do such as good job. Her honestly and excellent service is why I stayed with her for years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re looking for a new hairstylist . She is excellent and will become your friend . She also remember your birthday and special occasions in your life So blessed to have Hair Apothecary!
