Yana Carpenter I have been using Gold Country Auto for at least 6 years. They have taken care of 3 of my vehicles and keep me up to date with all my maintenance on my newest car. This is so important because I do not naturally remember to maintain my vehicles. The staff treats me with a professional attitude and I really like to personal customer service I receive. The prices are totally reasonable and there work is excellent, I have never had a problem with anything they have done. I work with an crew of guys and they always have to add their two cents about pricing and what parts would use, when I need something fixed, Gold Country has been spot on every time with price and quality. I have total trust in Kevin and his staff at Gold Country Auto. I have recommended many friends and they are always happy with the service and thankful they have an honest mechanic they can count on.

Jon Schwarz Great service and very knowledgeable staff and mechanics. Ive had my truck at 3 other shops none of which actually fixed the issue with a sensor(it wasnt the sensor it was the connector). They actually listened to me on my concerns of it being a wiring issue and fixed the problem in a very quick professional manner. They also did a great job on a couple other issues my truck had. Thank you again to the whole crew there.

Also, I had another place tell me I needed both sets of brakes replaced at over 1200$! Foothills not only discovered I only needed my front brakes replaced, they also gave me the best price around. rohini moradi Hands down best mechanic in Nevada City! I can’t say enough good things about Nevada City Auto Service! We had a blown head gasket, and they not only fixed it perfectly but also gave us an oil change. The owner is awesome—super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, there are two sweet dogs that greet you when you arrive, which makes the whole experience even better! The prices are fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. I feel so lucky to have found this place and will definitely be back for any future car needs!

Evan Ross Murphy Spencer the owner is helpful and knowledgeable and treats his workers well, (closed Friday after 40 hr week) the kind of guy who gets things done for neighbors and who elders can trust. Two such patrons came in while I was there, one elder woman was there for what seemed like reassurance with a recent fix and maybe a hug, and another gentleman lamenting that he had lost his job recently and might need help. Spencer listened with care and helped both, while easing their worries, he had my radiator repaired in an hour and a half to keep me going to work the following day and he has helped me many times. In a world where it’s hard to know who to trust, Spencer here is one of the good guys.

Rebekah Martinez The guys at Gold Country Express are so so polite and kind. I went there for the first time this last weekend and was so happy I found this place. I had been going to a corporate oil change place but the other place was trying to tell me my car needed nearly 2 more quarts of oil than it even takes. I looked around on Google Maps to a place close to my house and saw these guys were open so gave them a call I was able to bring the car and they finished it in like 20 minutes if that. I was impressed. They have a spacious seating area, vending machines for drinks and snacks and the drinks are cold. They have amazing hospitality here and are prompt. I will absolutely be returning here. No reason to go elsewhere. Also, they are family owned! So awesome. Thanks Gold Country Express!
