Anita M. Gorwara, M.D.

marissa viscomi The bad reviews on Dr. Gorwara genuinely frustrate me because if it werent for Dr. Gorwara, my health would likely be in a very different place. When I faced an unexpected and terrible medical situation, I saw many different doctors, from specialists, to urgent care visits, to ERs — and Dr. Gorwara was the only one who got it right, and treated me accordingly. It only took her one visit to let me know what was happening with me. While it wasnt the news I may have wanted to hear, I am so grateful I had her to figure out what so many others couldnt. And not only was she a good doctor in that moment, but she even cared enough to have my back and call the other doctors I had seen that messed up my diagnosis. She truly cares and shes good at what she does. Highly recommend Dr. Gorwara and am so grateful for her care.

UCLA Health Santa Monica OBGYN

Megan Dugan I chose UCLA Santa Monica for my first pregnancy which just resulted in the most perfect little boy. I had an amazing experience at this office and truly appreciated how caring the staff was throughout my journey. Not only were they always on top of everything and easy to reach, the use of the UCLA/my chart app made everything so easily accessible. I really appreciated the hybrid care between OB/midwives. I was able to meet all of the midwives throughout my pregnancy, so they were familiar faces during the birth. While my actual birth did not go according to my birth plan whatsoever, I really appreciated the level of care I was given from all of the doctors and nurses at UCLA Santa Monica hospital.

Dr. Gerald M. Sacks, MD

Bill Maloney I first connected with Dr. Sackss while in St. Johns hospital and have continued treatment with them via weekly calls for almost 8 months. I would not be at the lower pain level and higher functionality level that I am now without his wise guidance. He has been able to help me navigate a complex disease and a complex set of options for pain and functionality management. He brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the table as well as a level of kindness rarely seen in many physicians. I highly recommend him.

UCLA Health Santa Monica Internal Medicine

Juan Ive had an almost exclusively positive experience with UCLA Medical, particularly at this location. The quality of care, from professors in medicine to residents, has been exceptional. Each practitioner, regardless of their experience level, has demonstrated top-tier expertise and a willingness to listen and collaborate on my health concerns. It’s clear they have access to a vast network of knowledge through their peers and specialists. One minor hiccup was a slight personality mismatch with a doctor, but the ease of switching to another primary care provider (PCP) who has been fantastic reassured me of UCLA’s commitment to patient care. Even my least favorable experience here was significantly better than any healthcare I’ve received elsewhere, highlighting UCLA’s superior service and patient handling. Specifically, the attentiveness and tailored advice I received from my current PCP exemplify the high standard of care at UCLA. This was a stark contrast to my experiences outside of UCLA, where the approach often felt more generalized and less focused on individual patient needs.

Eileen M. McGrath, MD

J E Tipre Dr. McGrath has served as my personal physician for twenty years. Important to me, Dr. McGrath is personable and humorous. Most important, however, Dr. McGraths diagnostic skills have helped to keep me positioned in good health through a few "phases" for which I am most grateful. She takes good care of young and old patients and, when necessary, directs patients to appropriate specialists.

Providence Saint Johns Health Center - Santa Monica Emergency Room

Caroline Pathy Really great experience - saw the triage nurse within a couple of minutes - and the waiting room was half full. Didn’t see a doctor for 1.5 hours but I guess there were others more serious than me. Then when I saw a doctor, support was fantastic - really thorough set of tests and very little waiting time between them, all clearly explained to me, and all the staff were lovely. There was a choice to keep me in or send me home, doctor explained the options and we both agreed that I was better at home. I felt really confident with the choices that were made. Thanks to everyone in the team!
