The oil light came on, and we were worried something serious had happened. Thankfully, Robinson Automotive came to the rescue. They took our car in right away, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had it fixed in no time. More than just capable, they were *warm, understanding, and incredibly helpful* throughout the process. We were back on the road feeling confident and grateful. Highly recommend them if youre ever in need of trustworthy, efficient service!

5 /5 rockerdude5150: I picked Robinson’s after having a terrible experience at the big local dealership. Finding a local repair shop/ mechanic that does excellent work with prices that are fair and reasonable is hard to find. Robinson’s friendly staff and communication was refreshing. This is a place I truly trust and will be bringing all my vehicles here for service. I would highly recommend them.

1 /5 no no: I brought my car in due to shuddering and an engine light I was charged $1500 to diagnose and fix what they told me it was. They fixed nothing and replaced parts I already changed out. After bringing it back again because it still wasn’t working, they refused to look at it again unless I am to get a new turbo because without looking at it again they claim my turbo broke. After finding this out I went to take my car straight to a new shop and the glass in my mirror literally fell out before I left their lot. I took it to another shop they diagnosed it replaced the same sensor said that wasn’t the issue but was kind enough to refund that part and put it to the real issue witch they found out shortly after was a AC circuit. These guys are lazy and will do the minimum while still charging you for anything they can.

1 /5 James Warden: Do not use the shop. I went to them on a referral to have some work done on my Subaru. When I arrived to pick up my car, the windows were down and my car was unlocked so anybody could get in it and I. I figured it was no big deal and got in my car to take it home. Upon driving home I discovered that they had overfilled my power steering fluid, and it almost caused me to crash. When I returned home, I discovered a dent in the back of my car that had not been there before. When I contacted the shop and informed them of the damage, they refused to take responsibility and compensate me for the amount of the damages. This is a shop that does not take pride in their work or care about their relationship with their customers.

1 /5 JORGE PEREZ: If I could give zero stars I would. This people did such a terrible and unprofessional work on my truck. My experience here was so bad I can’t believe this people are still in business. Had an appointment at 8:30am for a simple break inspection, no one communicated with me throughout the day. I had to come in at the end of the day 4pm to find out what was going on, just to find out they couldn’t preform a simple break inspection. And they charged me a ridiculous amount. The first thing the assistant tells me is, im getting charged 165 dollars for VISUALLY inspecting my breaks they never took my truck a test drive all day. Wow this people outta be ashamed of themselves. I would recommend any other shop in Placerville but not this shop. This guy says he has 40 years of experience maybe ripping people off cause he definitely doesn’t know anything about cars.I’ve never been so disappointing with a shop.
