Phelan Riessen I went to FTS due to a suspension issue. They took the time to find a manufacturer that had the product since none of the dealers had it in stock at the time. I’ll be honest, I was a bit of a problem customer and unbeknownst to me at the time there was an underlying issue that was caused by the previous repair shop. These guys handled it professionally as best as they could considering the situation. Five stars and I would definitely recommend using FTS to anyone that needs auto repair. Thank you!

Tevin Mak These guys are legit. [Lexus es300h] Heard something wrong with my rear brakes this week. The next day, they were the only ones who picked up my call and got me in the same day. They are very transparent and gave me the opportunity to see what they see. Walked me through the damage and made sure I knew what the parts normally look like. They showed me my struts were leaking as well, quoted me, and worked with me when it came to the total. Before paying, they show you the broken/removed parts so you know youve got them replaced. If I need anything else done, Ill be coming back.

Grant Austin Great for smog, super nice guys. Waiting room could definitely use an update though - no WiFi, water dispenser didn’t have cups, etc. But they will get the smog test done quick and easy, gotta love it!

Dave Wanted to find a new local mechanic (Pacific Beach area) for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. M&C Auto kept showing great reviews on sites I looked at so decided to give them a shot at the end of May 2025, when I had a coolant leak issue. They got me in the same day I contacted them, diagnosed the problem right away, which was a radiator leak. Quoted me a replacement and labor price which was way under other shops. Vincent, the shop manager, was great at showing me all that they did (system was flushed as well). Carlos was also helpful in keeping me informed of the work done. I definitely have found my new local auto shop!

tim parr Andre and his team led by Chris and Jason are the best! They all communicate on estimates, status of repair and when my vehicles are going to be ready. Pricing is very reasonable and fair with often mitigation options regarding things that need to be repaired/replaced now and items that can hold off until the next visit. Ive been going to Miramar Auto Repair for 5+ years for both my Toyotas and will continue to look forward to enjoying this A++ establishment. Thank you Andre!

Melissa Hocanson I have a 1966 mustang that needed lots of work. It’s my daily driver now. It has been extremely challenging finding a mechanic that first would work on the car and second do a good job. Robert at John’s automotive was my first point of contact and he has been extremely professional, organized and detailed. I came in and explained what I needed and he scheduled a time that I could bring the car in - it wasn’t right away but I appreciated that he didn’t take the car until they were able to work on it. After I dropped off the car they sent me an email with photos and a checklist of things that were good and things that need work. I was very impressed I have been to a lot of mechanics and I have never received a report that detailed. Mike is the mechanic who has worked on my car and has explained in detail what was wrong, what he’s done and what I should expect. It’s challenging working on these old cars but Mike has the experience and expertise needed to get the job done. I love my car and I’m extremely grateful that I found John’s automotive otherwise I don’t think I’d be driving my car. I highly recommend this company. Robert and Mike are the best !!!

Jimmy Noddz Finally, a repair place that truly cares about doing quality work, with pride and a smile. Jose is the best, truly a gentleman. He explains everything in detail and the cost, the ramifications if the repairs are not done. And the time you probably have before the problem gets bigger, and that’s important to a lot of us with a tight budget. I would recommend Jarvis to any and all my family and friends. And any make and model, his team is well diversified in all the automotive brands, foreign and domestic. Jarvis is truly a shop I trust. Jimmy

Brent Got a flat right outside this shop and asked if I could use their lot to change a tire and they put my spare on for me free of charge. Will definitely be going back for regular maintenance at this shop!

Bryan Miller Took my old Toyota in cause the check engine light kept coming on and it was running rough. I’m not too car-smart but they explained everything in simple terms and didn’t try to scare me with a huge list of problems like some other shops I’ve been to. They figured out it was just a bad sensor and got it replaced the same day. Honest pricing, no pressure, and the car’s been running smooth ever since. I liked that they didn’t make me feel dumb for asking questions. Only thing is the waiting area could use a bit of cleaning but that’s not a big deal. At least they got the job done right and quick. It’s hard finding good trustworthy mechanics nowdays, so I’m glad I found these guys. Will def bring my car back if I need more work.
