2 /5 Lorraine Perrino: Alex had agreed to replace clock spring on my 2013 Toyota Camry over a month ago. He said he had ordered the part from China. I took my car to him as scheduled. I left it for him and started walking home. He called me when I was almost to my street and said he had not received the part as expected. He asked me to wait until the following week for him to receive the part. He had quoted me $600 for the repair. I had gone with him because I am 77 years old and on social security so a low income. I had called him every week for three weeks to see if he had received the part. He kept reassuring me that he expected the part any day and would do the work for the agreed upon price whether or not he received it. I foolishly did not call last week. I received a call from him today. He was very vague and acted like he didnt know me. To be sure, I asked him how much the repair would be. He said part would be $700 and labor another $285.00. I cannot afford that. He had reassured me three times that he would do repair when he received the part for the agreed on $600.00. I think he is a crook, dishonest and trying to scam me. I CANNOT AFFORD THAT. IT IS A REAL STRETCH TO GO THE $600, so I am without a horn, my radio does not work, my Bluetooth doesnt work. I have put up with this for over a month. CRIMINAL.

They don’t try to upsell you on things you do not need. Super friendly and can usually get you in within a day or two. It is best to call ahead and make an appointment.

5 /5 Lex Novacek: I am usually not one to leave reviews but felt strongly compelled to do so. I came in about two months ago with my check engine light and it turned out to be a very difficult problem to resolve. Aaron was so patient and willing to help and was so good at explaining what was going on. I just moved to San Diego about five months ago and as a young woman in a new town you never know how a random mechanic is going to treat you. I never thought he was trying to get more money from me, and could see he genuinely wanted to get my problem solved for me. I’m so grateful and will absolutely be back if any more problems arise with my car. Could not recommend them more!!!
