Mary Vertulfo Plymouth is a radically accepting and loving community of people, with some of the best music in Oakland. I walked in and was immediately made welcome. I have found life-long friends, music, and endless opportunities there to make real and lasting change to the greater Oakland community through their partnerships and programming. I highly recommend going to their many musical events (Monday Night Jazz, Free First Fridays… Mardi Gras, Soulful Christmas… I could go on!!) Even if you’re not looking for a spiritual home, the incredible musical talent that plays at Plymouth Church is unmatched and you will have a wonderful time here.

Ton T I can’t tell if this building is still being used as a Church but it’s Spanish influenced architecture facade and roof appears to be in need of repairs. I hope it’s renovated as it’s quite an appealing building.

Macadamian SuperBaller I really like the ambiance. It would be good for service to be longer. Im still adjusting to being able to eat something and drink coffee during service even though Im sure that Jesus is probably cool with it.

john C. Palmer We attended worship as out-of-town visitors on Easter Sunday so we can only base our review on that one Sunday service. The Spirit of God was truly alive in all aspects of the service. Fantastic Gospel music, the Word of God preached powerfully, baptisms with explanation of its meaning & invitation to anyone in attendance to come forward & be baptised or rebaptised, celebration of the Lords supper (with gluten-free crackers & an invitation to anyone in attendance to participate if they believe in Jesus as their Savior), friendly congregants of all ages & ethnicity. If we lived in the Bay Area this is definitely the church we would attend & we will certainly worship there whenever we are visiting the area.

Franceyez Jackson III Such a big help to our community. Whether feeding the needy or housing an event this historic site brings memories of when I was down on my luck in 1993 and they had a fried chicken luncheon. I was 7 years old.

Brando Menjivar Such a welcoming, beautiful, and diverse community of people! The music is great, the energy is exciting, and free coffee and donuts is always a plus. Storyline is also a great place to bring your kids! My kids love being a part of StoryKids!

Yevette Tipton Awesome church if you live to praise the Lord, worship the Lord and want to connect with the holy spirit. Its a holiness church. Queen is the Pastors late mother who raised him right. The First Lady is a prayer warrior. You feel Gods presence and leave feeling loved. The motto is "The church where everybody is somebody and Jesus is the main attraction." Glory to God.
