Will passed away some months ago. American Automotive will deeply miss Wills expertise and character. However the shop will continue to grow and thrive with some young bucks taking the helm. Matthew Nathan I drive for a living so my car is my business and it is important that I trust the people working on it. Mark and his brothers are the best in the Bay Area. Very down to earth people. Someone I could trust was very very important to me and I found it with Mark and his brothers. I had a noise coming from my transmission and had it looked at by several transmission services professionals here in the Fremont area. One guy told me my transmission was a CVT, I asked him how he know that and he said we just know. So he sent me off and told me just drive it till it gives out and comeback when you need a new one. That very same day I went to Marks and asked them "Do I have a CVT transmission?" They knew from years of experience that Toyota puts a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that says what transmission the car has and guess what... "It wasnt a CVT!" on top of that they drove my car with me in it, hooked up a diagnostic tool and explained to me what they were looking for and why they were looking for it. I dont understand cars but I do greatly appreciate them explaining to me what they were looking for. Ill keep the story short. Ultimately, they didnt sell me a new transmission, they had an additive that makes the transmission fluid more sticky and in my particular case thats what they recommend. That same day, I had that done and bam. My transmission felt like brand new again. Mark and his brothers have earned my business for life. Anything I need related to my engine or transmission they will be the first ones I call. No second and third opinions needed. I trust that what they tell me will be their best recommendation for whatever it is that I need. Mark and brothers, I bless your business with love, light and abundance. May you prosper in all ways. Jigish Parikh Have been coming to Juan for 3 years now. He is very honest and upfront with whatever is “must be done”, “good to get done” and “can wait until broke”. He is not the cheapest because he does a thorough job. He will point to you clearly whether its better to bundle few things when you are getting a specific job done to save on labor costs which adds up if you do things separately. Have brought my friends here and strongly recommend him.

Vineet Sinha My Mercedes quietly died on the side of the road on a Sunday and I had it towed to 510. They carefully worked on it until she was nursed back to health. It was more than the battery. They had to replace a valve body on an exotic variant. It took a long time to find the part but they got it done. Treated much better here than at the Fletcher Jones dealership in Fremont. I’ve gone to about a dozen mechanics over the years in the Bay Area and Erik and his team are the ones I trust more than anyone. 5/5. Highly recommend.

Luis Márquez These gentlemen are absolutely the, "real deal!" They are the fairest, friendliest and best mechanics Ive ever found! Prices are more than fair and theyre definitely not out to rob or hustle their customers! Its rare that I find a place where they put emphasis on being upfront, honest and sincere about their work and customer service. They have a top-of-the-line laser alignment system, and if you tell them that Luís from Costco sent you, theyll take good care of you! I do most of my mechanic work but when I need a job done that I cant do, I come straight to, Cosmic Automotive!!
