Despite arriving 30 minutes late due to traffic, the two stylists were incredibly accommodating and still provided us with excellent, professional service. Their attention to detail and kindness made the entire experience even better. We truly appreciate their dedication and highly recommend this saloon.

Sinath Neang I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasnt sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasnt sure what I wanted or know whats the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but shes talented at what she does, and she cares about her clients happiness. Shes the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Courtney Neelon Ive been going to Weeds for several years. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable. My stylist Jessica does a great job bringing my Instagram inspiration hair to life. I can always count on her to be real with me on what looks good and doesnt. She makes sure that I am happy with my cut before I leave and makes time for me to get in the schedule as needed. Weve been together through many cuts, colors, and blowouts. Their new line of products is incredible. I love going here and you will too!

LM L For the last 12 years, I have spent so much money trying to find the right stylist to cut my curly hair. Every place claimed to have the curly hair expertise, but I usually felt the cut was just so-so. That is the complete opposite of my experience at Head Designs. Sheila took the time to listen to my wants and looked over all the reference photos I brought. I went from chin length wimpy curls that loved to frizz at the hint of rain to the CUTEST pixie shag. I was never blessed with thick hair. To my dismay, part of my aging process has been thinning hair that is coarser and more fragile. An experienced stylist understands the different hair textures between younger and older clients because as people age, their hair naturally changes in texture, density, and condition, requiring different styling techniques and product choices to achieve the best results. Sheila understood my concerns and cut my hair in such a way that the thinner areas are no longer noticeable. Now all I need to do is wash it 1-2x/week and use a styling gel. On the do nothing days, I wet down any areas that are flattened or have cowlicks, fluff up with my hands and Im done. I was Sheilas lone customer that afternoon so she was able to take care of me with zero distractions. She has a calm demeanor and a gentle touch. What I appreciate the most is how Sheila really paid attention and listened to me. There is street parking and a lot behind the shop. And after leaving with such a good haircut, I treated myself to a pastry from the bakery next door. Looking forward to my next cut. Thank you, Sheila!!

Jennifer Byrne So, I found this gem when my hair got botched at a Supercuts. I was the type of girl with long hair that only get their haircut once a year. Never was an issue until IT BECAME AN ISSUE. Jasper saved me the 1st time in correcting my haircut while hanging on to as much length as possible and I was forever grateful! He explained what was wrong with it, gave me options, and really took his time with the process and styled it to perfection. The second time I sat in their chair was when I made the WORST decision by not returning. I work in SF and had virgin hair and wanted a big change so I decided to get a balayage at a salon on Polk street. My hair turned into a bumble bee with a tinge of greenish hues and awful highlighting. I was traumatized! I decided to reach out to my lifeline and made my appointment at the RIGHT salon. Not only did they have to correct a horrendous color job but also a bad haircut once again. One side was longer than the other. Mrs. Tat Tat came in for the W! She truly is an artist, magician, and hero. Thank you both so much for your patience and magic hands. I can firmly say I will NEVER go anywhere else but L’Amor Salon and you should too. You will genuinely appreciate the abilities of their entire team!!! I feel so confident, back to my usual self and ready for my 40th birthday and upcoming wedding!

Bella Fica I recently visited a Black hair salon for the first time in a decade, and I couldnt have chosen a better place to rejuvenate my hair. The salon is beautifully designed, and the owner, Charlotte, was incredibly welcoming. I appreciated that the service prices were clearly displayed, along with QR codes for easy payment. The other stylists and staff members were also very friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I feel like Ive finally found my go-to salon. Charlotte offered valuable suggestions for addressing some hair loss Im experiencing, and I left feeling optimistic. Ive already scheduled my next appointment for this year.
