Eric Does My Hair
Alexis Canales my go to for ultra customized and on trend hairstyles. they do a perfect job and the services are gender affirming and the customer care is impeccable! been seeing Eric for 2+ years now and plan to keep coming back. :) prices are very comparable to the area too! the salon is nice and clean and snacks and water are available. the best haircuts I’ve ever had !:)

Taylor N Daniella was awesome and gave me an amazing haircut. I hadn’t gotten a haircut in two years because I really disliked and was discouraged by my last haircut (different salon), and Daniella was super willing to listen to my concerns and what I wanted. I will for sure be coming back!

Danielle Fischer Lauren is amazing. I have wavy curly hair, and its been tricky to find some one who knows how to cut it. I had some pretty specific requests, and she delivered on all fronts. She started our appointment with a consultation, asking me about my preferences and really seeking to understand what I wanted in terms of shape and day-to-day. This is the first time in many years that Ive loved my hair cut -- and fwiw Ive gone to upscale salons (and random salons) throughout SF, SoCal, and DC. Im planning to just go to Lauren from now on. She was also super nice and friendly. The salon is sooo cute, and the neighborhood is great too. Highly recommend

Jennifer Byrne So, I found this gem when my hair got botched at a Supercuts. I was the type of girl with long hair that only get their haircut once a year. Never was an issue until IT BECAME AN ISSUE. Jasper saved me the 1st time in correcting my haircut while hanging on to as much length as possible and I was forever grateful! He explained what was wrong with it, gave me options, and really took his time with the process and styled it to perfection. The second time I sat in their chair was when I made the WORST decision by not returning. I work in SF and had virgin hair and wanted a big change so I decided to get a balayage at a salon on Polk street. My hair turned into a bumble bee with a tinge of greenish hues and awful highlighting. I was traumatized! I decided to reach out to my lifeline and made my appointment at the RIGHT salon. Not only did they have to correct a horrendous color job but also a bad haircut once again. One side was longer than the other. Mrs. Tat Tat came in for the W! She truly is an artist, magician, and hero. Thank you both so much for your patience and magic hands. I can firmly say I will NEVER go anywhere else but L’Amor Salon and you should too. You will genuinely appreciate the abilities of their entire team!!! I feel so confident, back to my usual self and ready for my 40th birthday and upcoming wedding!

Sinath Neang I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasnt sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasnt sure what I wanted or know whats the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but shes talented at what she does, and she cares about her clients happiness. Shes the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Bella Fica I recently visited a Black hair salon for the first time in a decade, and I couldnt have chosen a better place to rejuvenate my hair. The salon is beautifully designed, and the owner, Charlotte, was incredibly welcoming. I appreciated that the service prices were clearly displayed, along with QR codes for easy payment. The other stylists and staff members were also very friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I feel like Ive finally found my go-to salon. Charlotte offered valuable suggestions for addressing some hair loss Im experiencing, and I left feeling optimistic. Ive already scheduled my next appointment for this year.

Alli, founder of Hüe, became that person for me right off the bat. After I had sampled numerous salons around the east bay, Alli welcomed me providing intimate care and pampering from kind conversations and refreshments to the most luxurious shampoo and head massage I’ve had. Over the past few years we have played with highlights, balayage, gloss and dye and found a daily hair care regimen. My hair is beautifully cut and healthy through all of these different processes. I appreciate how she meets the vision I have while still making sure it works for my hair texture and need for fairly low maintenance styling. Her experience shows through custom dye blends, great communication, and chic cuts that look gorgeous immediately and through the upcoming months.
