1 /5 Ray G: Very disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a basic pedicure and was shocked to see that it was priced at $90. I decided to do gel, and since my friend booked the appointment for me as a regular pedicure, they told me they would not have time to do a basic French tip. I didn’t think it would be an issue to switch to gel since, in my experience, salons usually ask in person which one you want, and it doesn’t take more time.
The technician was nice enough to say she could still do the French tip, but I don’t understand why it was a problem in the first place, especially since the salon was nearly empty and no one was waiting after me. I also expected a small extra charge for the French tip but was surprised to find out it was $20 extra. According to their pricing, the pedicure should have been $65, and with the French tip, it should have totaled $85, but I was charged $90. I find this price kind of wild for a basic pedicure.
Not only was it overpriced, but the quality was nothing special or out of the ordinary. To make matters worse, the technician went too deep under my nail, causing pain and discomfort in my toe since my appointment on Friday (it’s now Tuesday night). It’s been uncomfortable to wear shoes, and the pain has persisted for days.
Overall, I felt overcharged for a mediocre pedicure that ended up hurting my toe. I would not return.
