Lauren Bolobov Called to ask about bringing my daughter in who was having stomach pain and diarrhea. The girl on the phone said that because she had diarrhea she couldn’t be seen in person since it’s a symptom of covid, which I understand, but she only has diarrhea and no other symptoms and the diarrhea had been ongoing for a couple days, still no other symptoms
so I was thinking stomach bug or food poisoning. After I asked if she was serious about not being able to see a toddler for only stomach pain and no other covid symptoms, she hung up on me. I called back, spoke to someone else who unfortunately just transferred me back to the same person I was talking to before. She was even more rude talking to her the second time and wouldn’t admit to hanging up on me, but ok. She suggested we do a virtual appointment and since I was really desperate to be seen I agreed. Idk how a virtual appointment was going to be useful, but like I said I was desperate. Then she said “oh we actually don’t have any virtual appointments left today”. *facepalm* I said thanks but this is urgent and I would need to call someone else, hung up. Called Mogo 30 seconds later and they IMMEDIATELY and compassionately invited us to come in and get my daughter seen in person. If you want cold, unfeeling, bratty staff to talk to about your child’s urgently needed appointment, go here. Mogo took care of us and were super understanding about the whole thing. They were happy to see us in person and way more professional and kind.
