GOLDEN STATE Urgent CARE

Anel Vega-Ramos Dr. Gurpreet Singh at Golden State Care is an incredible primary care physician. He truly listens and takes the time to understand concerns to provide the best diagnosis and care. Not only has he been great for my own health needs, but he has also stepped in to help when I couldn’t get my kids to their primary care doctor. The staff is equally amazing. Always understanding, helpful, and ready to assist with anything needed. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for the care and support they provide. Highly recommend!

Merced VA Clinic

Tom Cozzi I dont know what people expect from the staff. Ive been going there for years and I have not seen the problems that people are complaining about. People need to relax and give the employees credit for what they are doing and realize that there other patients patients being seen. Sometimes it takes them a little longer to finsh with some patients than others. I prefer that they take their time to make sure each person gets the proper care. So put away your stop watch and relax

Dignity Health Family Care Clinic - Merced, CA

Mireya Rodriguez The receptionists do not smile at all. They are not the friendly type..they check you in and out efficiently so at least thats good. Of you have a appointment and your a timely person like me..Do not be surprised if you are called a whole hour after your Appointment then seen in the room 45 minutes later. My appointment was at 1:30 and at 3:15 I was called in..(I swear to you! This is not a exaggerated story) 45 minutes later waiting with 2 babies They were finally seen.. They have a lot of resident doctors ( learning doctors) There is not a problem with this until they dont know what to do so then you have to wait really long for the actual Doctor ( M.D.) to show up. They have 1 restroom in the waiting area its clean theres no changing table. They have the most ridiculous key holder for the restroom..A clipboard attached to the key !! Makes it almost impossible to open the restroom! The rooms are small but clean a bit dingy and dated. The nurses and nurse assistants are alot more friendly. Than the receptionists. There is wheel chair access and parking as well as wheel chair door button. Theyre lunch is 12-1 and hours are 8 a.m to 8pm M-F Saturdays 8a.m -1 and closed Sundays. Down fall is the wait and they make no appology. If your ever late be prepared to have your appointment rescheduled which is funny because they will have you wait almost close to two hours after your original appointment. You could do much better Family Care Clinic.

Emergency Room at Dignity Health - Mercy Medical Center

Mrs. Bueno 3 stars for the Night Shift doctors and Staff ONLY. 1 star rating for day shift Admissions and Triage nurses. The RN’s in Triage are so rude!!! If you are not having a heart attack, stroke, or homicide you are not considered an “emergency”. I’m here to say there are other illnesses in this world that constitute an emergency room visit. Illnesses you cannot see, illnesses that Merced maybe hasn’t heard of. It’s a shame. There’s one nurse in particular that thinks she’s tough and touches you to sit down when I asked if I can have a seat in the hallway because my neck needed wall support. She came outside put her hands on me and said “sit down, no, sit down you will not be going back there” she also took off my neck brace and threw it in the trash because I didn’t “need” it since I wasn’t there for a car accident, neck injury, etc…(Nurse Mercedes had given it to me for stability because I have neck issues that heighten during these flare ups). The RN was annoyed she gave it to me. Night shift I was met with so much compassion from the RN to the Doctor, Dr Bowes (sp?). To my surprise they took me back and kept me back there to treat me. He was such a blessing and listened to everything I had going on. I wish I got to RN’s name but she was so helpful and treated all her patients the same. Dr treated me the best he could until I was able to make it to SF. Morning Staff—I know you have tough patients but you should treat everyone as a decent human and not diagnose their condition rudely as anxiety when there’s so much more than anxiety. Learn about it and be humble! Front clerk: get an attitude check..you check people in there should be no reason for eye told, grunts, tones. I am a nice person, that had an emergency.

Family Birth Center at Dignity Health - Mercy Medical Center

Samantha F I gave birth 4 days ago here and I had a really great experienced! I’d like to first acknowledge Stephanie. She was my nurse for my actual delivery and she was absolutely amazing! I had some complications and she made me feel so calm and like she was there specifically for me and to support me. She single handedly calmed my anxiety and fears regarding a lot of things, delivery being one of them. She coached me through delivery and pushing. Afterwards, in my most raw and vulnerable moments, she delicately cleaned me up. I cannot thank her enough. I had a few other nurses who were notably kind and supportive as well. Linda was one of them and she was soooo kind. I really appreciate her and everything she did for me postpartum. I’d also like to just show some love and appreciation to Dr. Johnston. I know he is technically his own practice, but he delivered my baby here. He came rushing in to deliver my daughter, and made sure she and I were both taken care of both before birth and after. He is really great at what he does and we are so so thankful for him. There was only 1 complaint I had, and that was the temperature of the postpartum rooms. They said they would send engineering to fix the thermostat after our room climbed up to 80 degrees. Engineering didn’t show and it just got so hot. We asked to be moved and they did oblige, however we were moved to another room that felt like the surface of the sun. lol. Aside from that, our care was top notch. Our care team was 95% amazing and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to give birth.
