3 /5 Mrs. Bueno: 3 stars for the Night Shift doctors and Staff ONLY.
1 star rating for day shift Admissions and Triage nurses. The RN’s in Triage are so rude!!! If you are not having a heart attack, stroke, or homicide you are not considered an “emergency”. I’m here to say there are other illnesses in this world that constitute an emergency room visit. Illnesses you cannot see, illnesses that Merced maybe hasn’t heard of. It’s a shame. There’s one nurse in particular that thinks she’s tough and touches you to sit down when I asked if I can have a seat in the hallway because my neck needed wall support. She came outside put her hands on me and said “sit down, no, sit down you will not be going back there” she also took off my neck brace and threw it in the trash because I didn’t “need” it since I wasn’t there for a car accident, neck injury, etc…(Nurse Mercedes had given it to me for stability because I have neck issues that heighten during these flare ups). The RN was annoyed she gave it to me.
Night shift I was met with so much compassion from the RN to the Doctor, Dr Bowes (sp?). To my surprise they took me back and kept me back there to treat me. He was such a blessing and listened to everything I had going on. I wish I got to RN’s name but she was so helpful and treated all her patients the same. Dr treated me the best he could until I was able to make it to SF.
Morning Staff—I know you have tough patients but you should treat everyone as a decent human and not diagnose their condition rudely as anxiety when there’s so much more than anxiety. Learn about it and be humble!
Front clerk: get an attitude check..you check people in there should be no reason for eye told, grunts, tones. I am a nice person, that had an emergency.
