1 /5 Gaby Alvarado: Terrible customer service. Ladies at the desk have a serious attitude problem. The overall dignity system is completely antiquated. I called to request an itemized statement. They needed to mail (yes mail) a form to be filled out and then mailed back. Nothing can be done by email. Requested form never arrived nor was there any reference of the request. Requested a 2nd time and nothing. Absolutely no solutions other than the automated answers they need to give. Most horrible health system I’ve ever been with. Wouldn’t return if you paid me

1 /5 Trish Haerens: I have severe chronic pain, and I used to be on MAP. So I had no choice but to go to this doctor, and they did the wrong test when they were drug testing me, so it came back negative. Then they kept saying that I was selling my medication, that I was lying, and that I was a drug addict. I didnt know anything about tests at the time, so I didnt know why the test was wrong. But the way these people treated me over it was enough that I could have sued them. Also, I went on vacation at one point to Michigan, and I needed my mental health medication filled early. I told them that I was going to be on a trip and that I would need my medication early, and before I could even tell them that I only wanted my mental health medication early, they said no, we will not fill your controlled substance early. But thats not even what I wanted.... And the way he said it really hurt me a lot, he was condescending, and rude. I dont remember that doctors name, but the other doctor was Dr helm. And she was the one that was accusing me of selling my medication and being on meth. Even though I have never once been on meth. Please do not go to this doctor at all costs.

1 /5 nano nan9: God forbid you need a prescription and you call to do their job and remind them they messed up. You get a dial tone because they hung up. I called today to let them know the prescription was wrong and they need to contact the pharmacy. The people answering are rude and when I asked why are you being rude af she hung up. I called again and she hung up again. The lack of respect and empathy for people that are sick is just mind blowing. If you work in a health care department you will be dealing with sick people that can’t talk or hear and will probably need to repeat thing. Do better. You can’t make this stuff up they will cancel your appointment last minute and their explanation “ the doctor is not here till in two weeks” just save your self the trouble

1 /5 M. G.: This clinic is owned by Mercy Medical Hospital and they will charge you hospital prices. They will not let you use a copay, but they offer the same services as a traditional doctor’s office. I have pretty good medical coverage but I still had to pay $300+ for something so simple. They will charge you for something the doctor could have told you over the phone. Even the lab prices were ridiculously expensive when compared to other labs. Stay away and go somewhere else if you have the option. Everyone I know hates Mercy and will go out of town for medical treatment. Merced really needs another hospital or more doctor’s offices.

4 /5 Mireya Rodriguez: The receptionists do not smile at all. They are not the friendly type..they check you in and out efficiently so at least thats good. Of you have a appointment and your a timely person like me..Do not be surprised if you are called a whole hour after your Appointment then seen in the room 45 minutes later. My appointment was at 1:30 and at 3:15 I was called in..(I swear to you! This is not a exaggerated story) 45 minutes later waiting with 2 babies They were finally seen.. They have a lot of resident doctors ( learning doctors) There is not a problem with this until they dont know what to do so then you have to wait really long for the actual Doctor ( M.D.) to show up. They have 1 restroom in the waiting area its clean theres no changing table. They have the most ridiculous key holder for the restroom..A clipboard attached to the key !! Makes it almost impossible to open the restroom! The rooms are small but clean a bit dingy and dated. The nurses and nurse assistants are alot more friendly. Than the receptionists. There is wheel chair access and parking as well as wheel chair door button. Theyre lunch is 12-1 and hours are 8 a.m to 8pm M-F Saturdays 8a.m -1 and closed Sundays. Down fall is the wait and they make no appology. If your ever late be prepared to have your appointment rescheduled which is funny because they will have you wait almost close to two hours after your original appointment. You could do much better Family Care Clinic.
