Alexis F Best new barbershop and salon in Huntington Beach!!! Nick (my barber) and Hannah have been in the business forever and have finally opened their own shop! Nick has been my barber for almost 5 years and hes so good at mens cuts that Ive followed him from location to location, but now I wont have too. Nick is accommodating, he listens to your likes and dislikes and can execute with precision. From what I hear, Hannah is an equally amazing hair stylist. For the quality and experience that you get at Guys and Dolls, they are priced fairly. The place is relaxed, the staff is personable and there is always something cold on tap if you enjoy a beverage during your cut. If you are looking for an excellent barber or hairstylist or just looking for a change of scene from your current barbershop or salon, check this place out--they will not disappoint!!

Sea Gabs Go Dori does a beautiful job! I love coming to my get color and haircut with her! She relocated from the LBC to HB, and Ill always make the short drive to come get my hair pampered! Im a really low-maintenance person, and Im not as mindful of my hair as I should be, but every time I come to see Dori, she always rejuvenates me and my hair! Thank you Dori!!!

Dimple Patel I absolutely love Pro Hair Design. I’ve been getting my haircut there since 2020 and have recommended it so many people. I’ve had Danny and Christine cut my hair and they’re both great. Christine usually cuts my hair and she is so sweet. She will ask what I want, give her rec and talk through what would look best, and explain things along the way. Highly recommend this place! The price is also very reasonable for a wash, cut, and style!

duyen tong I went to see Rachel! She had done my hair for a few years but I found someone closer so I left, but now I’m back! Haha she’s amazing! She’s very good with colors and cuts. She also cuts your bangs for free when you’re a client. She’s super sweet. The salon is pretty cute and clean. You’d think parking is hard because it’s right by the beach, but I’ve found parking pretty easily every time. I’ll update this post with pictures later.

Christina Myal If you’re thinking about getting hair extensions, check this place out—1000% amazing! I’m new to The Blow Down, but I’ll definitely be coming back. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was going to be a different kind of experience. The space is welcoming, the energy is great, and the team is beyond lovely. I came in feeling a bit stressed from work, and Lindsey greeted me with open arms—then asked if I’d like a glass of champagne to help me unwind. From the start, she was incredibly kind. I’ve had some rough haircuts in the past, but instead of pointing out the obvious, she asked thoughtful questions and shared her expert opinion. She was professional, warm, and amazing the whole way through. I also got hair extensions for the first time, and I’m shocked I haven’t done this sooner! My hair looks and feels incredible. I walked out with a fresh new look, feeling beautiful and like I’d made a new friend. 10/10, highly recommend!

Most recently she fit my girls (6 y/o and 3 y/o) and I in and made their day nailing their short haircut with bangs so they could both look like Penny from the movie Bolt. Kussner Bess (Basya) I found Cotton Blow Dry Bar from a quick Google search. I needed my hair done for a Saturday wedding and was able to book a blow out the night before. I was a little concerned with the negative reviews, but I realized most of them are from 4+ years ago. I had an incredible experience. First off, they took me in 10 minutes early (I expected the opposite). Second, my stylist (Tanya) was lovely. The hour flew by because we were having such a great conversation. And last but not least, I LOVE my hair. Worth every penny. Ill definitely be back.
