Virginia D. Brooklyn is amazing. Ive been to a number of different curly stylists over the years and shes been a breath of fresh air. Shes extremely talented, dedicated to only curly hair, and really fun to chat with in the salon. I couldnt ask for a better experience. The initial consultation was awesome, she took the time to ask questions about my hair, take notes, and play around with my curls to really understand my needs before doing any cutting. Since then, everytime I come in she take a moment to see whats changed before diving in. One of my favorite things about Brooklyn is that she takes each persons hair needs into consideration and includes hair treatments in the cost of her service instead of trying to upsell. If youre looking for a curl specialist, consider Brooklyn! Shes spectacular.

Courtney Neelon Ive been going to Weeds for several years. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable. My stylist Jessica does a great job bringing my Instagram inspiration hair to life. I can always count on her to be real with me on what looks good and doesnt. She makes sure that I am happy with my cut before I leave and makes time for me to get in the schedule as needed. Weve been together through many cuts, colors, and blowouts. Their new line of products is incredible. I love going here and you will too!

Socorro I LOVED my experience! I havent had my hair professionally cut in more than 15 years because I dont trust people with my curls. Susie is immensely kind and made me feel comfortable and heard. she impressed me with her talent: I told her I wanted a cut that retained my length as much as possible and I left leaving way hotter than I came in - she gave me what I didnt even know I wanted! overall, she did an excellent job and I would recommend her cado cut to people with curly hair as long as youre able to financially invest

Katie’s been rocking this business for 15 years, and it shows in every detail. She’s high-energy, a fantastic listener, and her instincts for color, cut, and style are unmatched. Lucky we snagged an appointment before the holidays because her books fill up fast—she’s THAT good! She absolutely nailed the lift and vibrant pop that Miya wanted for her thick Asian hair, which is no easy feat. The customer service? Impeccable. The vibe? Sinath Neang I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasnt sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasnt sure what I wanted or know whats the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but shes talented at what she does, and she cares about her clients happiness. Shes the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Suzanne Chen I came across this salon and was moved by the reviews to get a haircut from Vee at Be Here salon, and Im so glad I did! I think the experience is worth every dollar. Vee made sure I was comfortable and matched my energy, gave me great advice on how to achieve the shorter style I wanted, and was very meticulous in cutting and styling my hair. I could tell that she makes every effort to make sure her clients walk away just as happy with the end result.

Tony López I have been a customer for 10 years. Meyda and Lorena are the best. Great service, fast, and very professional. I would recommend to make an appointment or call ahead. Prices are very reasonable! Plenty of street parking or parking lot next door. Closed on Sundays but open until late (8pm ish) Monday through Saturday.
