Edgar Aguilar I’ve had a great experience with this shop bringing my two Datsuns(280z and 610 wagon). They’re consistently on time, which is hard to come by, and the quality of work is top-notch. Communication is clear, professional. I really appreciate how Ismael and his crew keeps you in the loop with how things are going, and really goes up and beyond with helping customers and their cars. Stepping in to the shop, the entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. It’s clear they care about both their work and their customers. Highly dependable and definitely a shop you can trust.

Teadora Monteith Its taken me an unfortunately long time to write this review as Ive been driving cross country. Before coming to Tom I was in a huge rut. I had to be across the country in 2 weeks and my car was having drivability issues along with the check engine light being on. It was waiting at the Chevy dealership for a part that they told me they had no idea when would arrive. I called Toms and was immediately able to schedule an appointment with them. When they looked at my car they were able to fix it in a day and charged me less than 200 dollars for something the dealership was quoting at $1,800. I could not recommend this place enough. And would also actively encourage anyone to avoid going to the jiffylube across the street from this location as they were the ones who originally messed up my car (incorrectly installed my air filter)! I wish I could remember the name of the man behind the desk who scheduled my appointment because he was great as well. The employees here were able to reassure me, help me, and save me hundreds of dollars. If u ever have car troubles please seek the help of Toms Auto Shop!

Triumphant Traveller Le the owner runs a very organized and professional service for Monterey residents. There is a good energy at his shop and he takes pride in offering valuable service to his clients. We had a smog check and Le went out of his way to answer questions for us. He was extremely helpful and we will be back!

I called Greg as soon as it happened, and he was very polite and welcoming. He gave me a spot to drop off the car and got started on the repair right away.
