Within just two hours, Sabino accurately identified and fixed the problems—a thermostat that wasn’t opening properly and a faulty oxygen sensor. What truly set this shop apart was the honesty, efficiency, and affordability of the service. Sabino is not only highly skilled but also incredibly genuine and trustworthy—qualities that are hard to come by in this industry. Before coming here, I had taken my car to three other shops in Monterey and Seaside, all of which recommended unnecessary repairs that had nothing to do with the actual issue. Dru Pre Took my car here and the gentlemen who work there are very nice and professional. I got my car serviced for a cross country trip, for 100,000 mile service and they were considerably cheaper than my car’s dealership. I would have paid over $700 at the dealership, where with the NEX I paid under $400. I asked for the honest opinion, of if my breaks and tires would get me there; they said yes and my car got me to my 2,000 (plus) mile destination. Would recommend this facility for car service!

Demsy YouTube While on vacation in Monterey, my Honda Odyssey car broke down and had to be towed to Monterey Motor. I had a great experience getting it fixed there. I called Greg as soon as it happened, and he was very polite and welcoming. He gave me a spot to drop off the car and got started on the repair right away. They replaced my alternator, charged the battery, and had everything done the same day—so I was able to drive home safely. I really appreciate the fast and professional service. Thank you, Greg!

Triumphant Traveller Le the owner runs a very organized and professional service for Monterey residents. There is a good energy at his shop and he takes pride in offering valuable service to his clients. We had a smog check and Le went out of his way to answer questions for us.
