Juan D. Ive noticed that the gym trainers should improve, they know what theyre talking about (I think) but they dont know how to train, their training is very poor and poorly done, its incredible that no one has gotten hurt yet, thats a real miracle. Equipment is good and the staff are always nice and polite

Get Fit on Adams

Jill Bormann Ive been a client since 2015. Working out with Tamara has been the BEST investment Ive ever made for my health and wellbeing. (And I have had other trainers to compare with)! The key *advantage* is that Tamara REALLY "listens" to you. She knows her stuff! She is comprehensive and compassionate! She takes into account ALL aspects of fitness and stays current with the latest science on health, fitness, psychology, biology, etc. I highly recommend her!

Chuze Fitness

Carlo N. Chuze Fitness is a popular upper middle class gym club in SD. They have different locations throughout SoCal. This location is very spacious and clean. They have all the weights and barbells, locker rooms, cardio machines etc. I like their facility, staff and the protein shake bar. Free wifi and parking are available. Overall, I recommend you Chuze.

Grinder Gym San Diego

Najee Wilson Great gym experience, came from out of town and dropped in. Dave was a great help to me and getting adjusted and answered all of my questions. All of the members were friendly and made my workout 10x better. Next time I’m in the area will be training here for more than a day

Fitness Quest 10 North

Mayfield Family This is the best gym I have ever gone to! I go to afternoon classes and also train with Max. Max is amazing! I have multiple injuries and feel very comfortable with all the exercises. They are challenging but fun! Because they are fun, I can push myself. After not exercising for a long time, I have made fantastic progress and I attribute this to the attention of Max and all the trainers here!!

Maya I love this location! Rachel and Michael are amazing coaches that really pay attention and give immediate feedback on form and modifications. Before going here, I was a bit intimidated to start a fitness class, but everyone here is super welcoming. I feel myself getting better with every class. Highly recommend this location.

Red Effect Infrared Fitness

Prissy Rose I’ve been going to this gym in East Village for a while now, and it’s truly one of the best out there. Not only is it open 24 hours, which makes it super convenient for any schedule, but the facility is also incredibly clean, which adds to the whole experience. They have a great free weights area and a sauna that you can use as part of your workout — the benefits of training in the heat are amazing for endurance and recovery! They also offer classes that are fantastic for all fitness levels, from beginners like myself to more advanced members. The classes are led by virtual instructors on screen. Plus, the private atmosphere means it’s never overcrowded, so you can really focus. The owner is another highlight — friendly and genuinely attentive to members’ needs, which makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a great new spot in East Village!

Hardcore Fitness Convoy

Marci The absolute BEST gym I’ve ever been to. From the trainers, members, and to the changes in my body - nothing compares! I hope to always be a part of this wonderful community. It’s nothing fancy but it’s solid and works! All I’ve had to do is show up and the workouts are set up for me. I’ve never felt more motivated or loved a gym until Hardcore Fitness. I actually look forward to coming to the gym now, whereas before it was a dreaded chore. The workouts are done in a class setting with a trainer - the advantage of having a personal trainer daily without the high costs. You would be doing yourself a favor to give it a try as they offer a 5 day free pass. Hope to see you there!

Anytime Fitness Downtown San Diego

Rossana Porto The staff (Ross at downtown San Diego) was super friendly and very patient. He gave his contact if I needed anything outside staff hours. Gym is very clean and organized. Have a lot of features, really recommend.
