24 Hour Fitness

Margarita D I have been waiting for the jacuzzi to be working for a long time. Last time they lied to me saying that part had arrived they were just waiting for installation. Know after week I call back to make sure it is working before I make the trip. Due to my pain in my body. Representing told me it’s is not working . When I questioned him about what I was told? He said “ I only say what the manager wants me to say” I responded to him” Wow! They must not pay you enough to care” thank you. I pay monthly dues and extra for massage chair do to my leg pain. To not take medication this brings sothung to my legs. Not only the place is filthy in the sauna but there has been many things not repair even the simple thing like a shower head in handicap. The floors water accumulation in corners of sauna and a awful smell. You can literally see the dark water. They have not maintain the place. If you call main number it send you to call the location you are complaining about. The manager tells you how expensive the part is and how they are just waiting for part. How can a business with so much money coming in monthly continue with this? If you are a member please help me to get this matter taken seriously.Thank you. If you are not a member you might want to look for a better alternative.

LA Fitness

Joseph Young Equipment is newer and generally in better condition compared to other LA Fitness locations. Peak busy times are 530-6am, then 3-7pm when lines for machines may form and the gym gets warmer especially in the afternoons. Not too many wannabe influencers but some mostly later in the day. Equipment is usually clean but some patrons dont wipe surfaces down unfortunately.

F45 Training San Diego East Village

Stephanie Lamb Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions Ive made for my fitness journey. The classes push me physical and are constantly changing so you don’t get bored. The coaches and owner are welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer guidance and support. Plus, the atmosphere is motivating, and music is amazing making every workout session enjoyable. Also, they allow well behaved adorable puppies. What more could you want. Highly recommend!

Crunch Fitness - Serra Mesa

Jeffrey Robinson Mel has the best attitude EVER. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Went way beyond and above for us. Shes definitely management material. If shes not a manager, she should be or her pay should reflect it. Her attitude isnt something you find in everyone. Do all you can to keep her. Thank you Mel. We appreciate you

Planet Fitness

Malka Nagel Nice solid planet Fitness off of University and 70th. Plenty of parking. Good strong AC and the standard large jumbo ceiling fans. Plenty of equipment and different zones. Morning crowd was pretty busy on a weekday morning

24 Hour Fitness

Teeks This gym has so much potential. Huge space, high ceilings, warehouse feel, 10 lifting platforms. Not a bad crowd, gym etiquette is better than most other gyms Ive been to. Most times weights are reracked in the proper place and people are nice if you ask them about using equipment around them/their platform. Most ppl take their sessions seriously enough, and not diddling around for the most part. Maybe depends on the time of day though. But there needs to be more duplicates of machines to reduce wait times. Like quad extension machines and abductors. Its also extremely dirty and the employees are often talking at the front rather than restocking paper towels, or cleaning the giant dust balls forming around the machines. The cleaning spray bottles are often broken too. Like... management, yall gotta do something.

Mission Valley YMCA

Alex Barone This facility is incredible and I’m glad to call it my home gym. I use the weight lifting room, cardio equipment, and indoor/outdoor pool regularly. The strength training equipment is abundant and evenly spaced with plenty of squat racks, machines, and floor space to accommodate varying crowds. The cardio room was just recently updated and all the equipment is so nice to use! I’ve been loving the new treadmills. The indoor pool is often being used for programs. The outdoor pool is the perfect temperature with a great view of the surrounding palms and lounge chairs for a comfortable and luxurious swim experience. I really love and appreciate the Masters Swim program here too. Overall, this is an amazing resource for anyone of any fitness level or interest and my favorite Y location in SD!
