Zero Givens

Grace G Joining Zero Givens and the 504 Challenge has helped me both with my physical and mental health. It has given me the confidence, determination, will power needed to accomplish my goals. I must say I was surprisingly shocked when I found out I was under 30% body fat. The gym, programs, coaches; all contribute to helping you meet your goals, many times surpassing them. There are amazing coaches who are not afraid to tell what must be done. They will help you through every step of your journey. You may feel challenged at times, like you cant succeed, but this is the time where you must push yourself and not give up. Always remember "Nothing is Given, Everything is Earned."

LA Fitness

Dave Sorrendino Nicolas Marin is a beast of a trainer and absolutely deserves a 5-star shoutout. I’ve been working out for years, so I’m not exactly new to the gym, but he still managed to level me up without trying to “reinvent the wheel” or talk down to me. From the jump he locked in on what I actually needed — tightening up form, not rushing, focusing on form, smarter programming with my sets, and pushing past the usual comfort zone without wrecking my joints. He really dialed in small adjustments that made a big difference (stuff I honestly should’ve caught by now), and the session never felt generic. Real knowledge and the right amount of push. I walked out feeling gassed in the best way, but not broken, and very aware and exciting and exactly what I need to be working on next. If you already train and want someone who can fine-tune your game instead of just counting reps, go see Nicolas. Super solid dude, locked-in energy, 5 stars all day! Thanks

Golds Gym Venice

Hazar Melih Uymaz Gold’s Gym Venice is an incredible place to train. The gym is huge, with every piece of equipment you could ask for, both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is motivating, full of energy, and you feel surrounded by people who are serious about fitness. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is kept clean and organized despite the heavy use. The outdoor workout area is especially impressive, giving a unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else. For anyone who cares about training, this is more than a gym—it’s a landmark. Visiting or becoming a member feels special, and it’s easy to see why it’s known as the Mecca of Bodybuilding.

SURFCORE Fitness

Paul Bellezza Ive been going to Surfcore Fitness for about two years now, and its hard to overstate what this community has meant to me. Ive been to a lot of gyms in LA over the years and was used to working out alone -- but I realized I missed having people to share the journey with. I came to Surfcore at a point in my life when I knew I needed to make some real changes to my health, and Carlos and Jose were so supportive and encouraging. After my first year, I got a clean bill of health from my doctor, and they genuinely celebrated that with me. Through the six-week challenges and all the day-to-day workouts, Ive learned how to better balance my eating, my fitness, and my mindset. The workouts are tough but fun, and the people are what make it special. Its supportive, hilarious, and full of good energy. Ive made real friends here -- something thats hard to do as an adult in L.A. And honestly, I really appreciate talking both workout shop and sharing the latest tea at Diva Fridays. Sadly, I had to move out of the area and I really miss my routine with the crew. Surfcore had become my third space -- a place between work and home where I felt grounded and be supported by friendly folk. Truly one of a kind.

Aroma Spa & Sports LLC

Juan Vazquez I’ve been a member here for two years. The gym is great, and the spa has become a part of my daily routine. The spa itself is well worth the price of the membership, especially if you go every day. I like using it to decompress after a long day, and to recover after a good workout. Hot/cold therapy does wonders for the mind and body. The spa facilities include two saunas, a steam room, an ice room, a warm tub, a hot tub, and a cold tub. The place is kept clean by the friendly crew, and you have access to towels, showers, and a dressing area with nice lotions and decent hair products. Ignore the reviews saying this place isn’t welcoming to people who aren’t Korean. I’ve always felt welcomed here—greeted with a smile by both the staff and fellow patrons. I can’t imagine my life without Aroma. I’ll be a member for as long as I live in Koreatown.

PHAROS Athletic Club

Anet S Ive loved my experience at Pharos! The community is genuinely welcoming and the coaches are outstanding -- they offer form corrections and always suggest modifications when I need them. The facility prioritizes function over flashiness, with everything you need for a great workout. Its refreshingly unpretentious compared to other gyms Ive tried.

EĹŤS Fitness

Jeremy Montes I decided to take the time to write a review on EOS LA. I consider myself a beginner and have always been timid into walking into a gym. So I came with a buddy of mine after work one day and instantly when I walk through the doors I see the manager Trevor greeting me with a huge smile . I feel like he knew I was a little anxious. I signed up as a guest so I could grasp a feel on the place . Fast forward 2 months later I love this gym so much . There isn’t a day where Trevor is not smiling and offers any and all help. I also was able to meet the trainer Oz which is a really cool guy. The staff feels like there are your friends makes it feel like a safe comfortable environment and professional at the same time. So I recommend this gym to anyone that wants to get out of their comfort zone . You will not be dissatisfied.

Anderson Munger Family YMCA

Timothy Obis I’ve been coming here for years. It’s very clean, the staff is friendly, they have most equipment I need, and an indoor pool and sauna which I love. That being said, it’s cramped, it’s small, there’s not enough room for as many people go there at peak hours. Another thing that I don’t like is since covid they changed the hours so that it closes at 8 pm, it’s closed for 3 hours in the middle of the day and it’s closed weekends. There is no reason to keep the hours like this from what I see! Overall I like the gym, but please change back the hours
