Sarah Morozov I had a wonderful experience at New Look Nails. I was able to secure an appointment the same day I called. The salon is easy to find and very clean. I was welcomed when I walked in. I immediately took a seat and eas asked to pick my color. Ben has excellent drummel skills and took care in soaking off the old powder in preparation for new powder. He chatted with me while he worked. Which is rare! I am very happy with the entire experience and will be returning in about 2 weeks for another fill.

Shannon Babcock I have been going to this salon since before they changed ownership. But I have to say this salon is my new favorite. New ownership is what this place needed! The new staff is kind, friendly and take their time, even when I make a 6pm appt! They now offer walk ins and are open on Sundays which has been such a relief for those who work 9 to 6 Monday- Friday. They value their customers and pay great attention to detail. Another plus-- they dont charge extra for gel polish like every other salon in Fresno does! and you get 2 colors included in the price! They dont try to scam you to pay extra. Theyre honest people, and will make it right if your nails lift early, etc and I will continue to be coming here for my mani/pedis! ❤️

melissa newton I have been going here with my mother in law for over a year. Over the last couple of months they have changed management. The new girls are absolutely wonderful and we have been really happy with their service. We get pedicures and our nails done almost every time. They are willing to try any style and do a very good job. The last time I even took my daughter and she loved how her nails turned out. I highly recommend them.

Jasmine People When I walked into the salon today, a young lady from across the room asked if I had an appointment. Unfortunately, there was no warm welcome, and I had to share my personal service details with everyone present. After I mentioned that I didn’t have an appointment, she inquired about the service I wanted but only speculated that the next available slot might be at 12:30. Despite my request for confirmation, she only reiterated her uncertain guess. Additionally, no one took my name or any information to secure the appointment. This lack of attention to customer service was disappointing, and I won’t be returning to this salon.
RESPONSE:
Your response suggest a lack of professionalism, and Id like to address them directly. When I entered your salon, I wasnt greeted but was immediately asked what service I wanted. While a couple of feet may seem close, it’s still across the salon, and proper greetings should be standard. She mentioned an available appointment time, but no effort was made to confirm if I wanted to schedule it. An ETA is not the same as an appointment. She mentioned that the next available appointment might be at 12:30, but an appointment implies a specific, confirmed time, which is why I asked for clarification. In fact, another client even intervened to clarify the time I should return, which raises the question: If my presence made anyone uncomfortable, why would someone feel compelled to assist me?
If my presence had indeed caused such discomfort that it affected others, why wasnt service refused immediately? It’s concerning that this issue was only raised after my review.
I walked into your salon with no other intent but to receive a service, and I find it troubling that you perceived me simply walking in as making others feel uncomfortable.
I apologize if my presence as a Black woman made you or anyone else feel uncomfortable. Its unfortunate that Black individuals are often unfairly perceived as having a bad attitude, and I regret that this may have influenced your perception of me.
Lastly, your reference to my other reviews was unnecessary and irrelevant. I am entitled to share my experiences honestly, and this was no different.

Kaley Dawson This place is just 2 minutes from my house so I figured I’d give it a try! And the reviews are so right, the wonderful lady who did my nails last minute was so sweet, she genuinely wanted to get to know me and regardless that they were closing in less than 30 minutes she took her time and didn’t rush anything! This is a photo over 2 weeks later!
